Ivan Wright and Esther Chris-tensen Chris-tensen of Salt Lake were married Oct. 14, 1969 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. All of her family was present for the ceremony, Myron and Joy Christensen, Antone and Terra Lee (her sons and their wives) and Kenneth Christensen. Ivan's sons and wives also attended, attend-ed, Boyd and Thelma Wright, Joan and Lawrence Wright. After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was given by a daughter at her home in Bountiful. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anderson (the former Ruth Jackson) were here from Ogden to visit with the Max Johnsons, John-sons, the James Owens, The Bernard Ber-nard Jacksons. at home in Hinckley. The Eugene Morris family attended at-tended church services in Scipio Sunday. The program was in honor hon-or of Barry Monroe who is leaving for a mission. Ruthanna gave an organ solo on the program. Leo and Jeannie Ekins and two children arrived by plane from Boston, Mass. last week to visit his folks, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ekins. Leo joined his family for the deer hunt. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Terry and four children of Ogden visited with the Carl Dutson family this week. Our Little League football team, coached by LaVar Cox, finished the season with only one loss. Coach Cox has done an outstanding outstand-ing job with the youngsters. Marion Dillenbeck is hospitalized in Salt Lake at this time and is having major surgery this week. We wish you a speedy recovery Marion. The annual Back - To - School -Night, sponsored by the PTA, will be Monday, Oct. 27, 7:30 p.m. The Hinckley Rookette Club was entertained last week by Shirl Bailey of Delta. Michelle and Jim were married recently and the newly- wed couple is making a home here, Michelle is from Calif. Angie Cahoon, LaFay Corey, Edith Dennison, Janeve Chapman, Vera Bishop and LaVerne Theobald attended a meeting in Delta last week of the Helen Mar McCullough Camp, DUP. The ladies are mem bers of the camp. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Robison took their son Gary to the Air Port last week and while they were there Mrs. Pam Hamblin, their daughter, who was with them, had to be rushed to the LDS Hospital where she gave birth to her third child. Her other children are staying with the Ben Robisons. Many people from this area went deer hunting inspite of the rainy snowy weather. Hope we have sunshine for a few days. The High Priest Quorum took the Sac. service and program into the Extended Care wing Sunday. Mr. Bryant Jones and Mr. Jack Fowles were the speakers. Margo Wilde and Dora Rose sang a duet and a hymn. Those present to see the film were Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Christensen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Bishop Bish-op of Hinckley and Mrs. Mary Anderson of Riverdals. Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Den T. Bishop and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Bishop went to Cedar to attend the Fall Chorus Concert that Mrs. Shirley Roper was director of. It was the Cedar High Mixed Chorus, Girls Chorus and the A Cappella. 220 students participated. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Shank and family spent the weekend in Las Vegas visiting with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Astle and son Richard and Mrs. Lucille Astle spent the weekend in Bryce Canyon, Can-yon, Zion and the North Rim of Grand Canyon. Mrs. Mary Bassett and Mrs. Louisa Lyman traveled to Nephi Sunday to attend the piano recital of Mrs. LeRoy Larsen. Mrs. Larsen has many piano students including her two daughters, Jill and Jeane Larsen. They enjoyed the afternoon after-noon very much. Mr. and Mrs. George N. Church have moved into our neighborhood in the newly remodeled basement house on Lyman Row. We sincerely welcome them into our neighborhood neighbor-hood and the 2nd Ward. Mr. and Mrs. Tim Anderson and children, Kim and Darin spent all last week in Green River hunting and visiting and returned home Sunday. Mrs. Violet Snow just returned home from a 2-month vacation visiting her family members. She spent one month in Portland, Ore with her sister and she also visited in Sacramento, Calif., Logan and Salt Lake.
