Mrs. Helen Anderson visited Mr. and Mrs. Fred Anderson overnight and attended the MEA banquet. Those who enjoyed a day at the temple Thursday were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence East, Mrs. Helen Anderson and Ivan Shipley. Mr. and Mrs. Wllford Sheriff have been enjoying a visit with their children and grandchildren the past two weeks and arrived home Saturday. They visited their daughters and families In the Og-den Og-den area and son, Scott and family at Tooele. The Daughters of Utah Pioneers met at the home of Macel Anderson Ander-son last Friday. President Viola Walker was in charge. The lesson was given by Mrs. Helen Anderson and a history of Lucina Morrey was read by her granddaughter, Macel Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Christensen are the proud parents of a new baby daughter born at the West Millard Hospital. The new baby has six sisters and a brother to welcome her home. Congratulations! Congratula-tions! Mr. and Mrs. Richard Persons of Kamas visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dwain Finlinson over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Anderson and little son and Roger of Proov visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Anderso nSaturday. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Shipley and children of Bountiful visited their parents Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Shipley Saturday and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Anderson enjoyed a visit from their daughters daugh-ters Mrs. Ladd (Barbara) Black and children and Mrs. Harold (Arlene) Heckart of Ogden for a few days last week. Mr. and Mrs. Winston Nielson and children of Richfield visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Nielson and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lovell Saturday. The family of Mr .and Mrs. Wil-lard Wil-lard Christensen met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Christensan Sunday to celebrate Mr. Christen-sen's Christen-sen's 80th birthday at dinner. Those of their family who were present were Mr. and Mrs. Willard Christensen, Chris-tensen, the guest of honor, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Christensen and children, chil-dren, Mr. and Mrs. Grover Christensen Chris-tensen and Miss Hazel Christensen of Salt Lake and the host and hostess, hos-tess, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Christensen Christen-sen and children. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Roper, Allen of Cedar and Carolyn of Tooele visited over the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Dutson and to help welcome the little new granddaughter. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Dutson ara the proud parents of a little new daughter born at the West Millard Hospital Saturday. She is welcomed welcom-ed by five brothers. Miss Nola Christensen of Salt Lake visited her parents Mr. and Mrs. Glen Christensen a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Burnis Finlinson enjoyed a visit from their son, Kent Saturday and Sunday. Kent is attending at-tending school at BYU. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Olson and children of Salt Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Olson and Mike of Draper were visitors of Mrs. Mamie Anderson. Mr. Cordell Finlinson and Miss Gloria Craw visited from CSU with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Finlinson and family. Miss LaRee Jaeobson, Mrs. Andy (Jewel) Mikesell and Mr. Clifford Mlkesell were weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Maiben Jaeobson. Mr. Lester Johnson is in the hospital hos-pital once again. Surely hope he recovers fully and speedily. Mrs. Jean Johnson and children spent last week visiting in Salt Lake with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Timmerman. Mr. and Mrs. Tom McCormick visited in Sutherland Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Deuayne Bayles and little son Kirt spent Saturday night with their folks, Mr. nnd Mrs. Reid Tippetts. Mr. Gam Turner was released from the Army now to stay. He has been in the service in Korea since his return from his mission. Gam arrived home Saturday afternoon, after-noon, March 8. Mr. Kent Freeman spent the weekend here with his wife, Kathy and children and the Max Johnsons. John-sons. The word about Darleen May Workman's little daughter was very good. A month ago when she and her cousin were thrown from a horse, Daleen received a three-fourths three-fourths inch crack across her skull and was unconscious for a week. Her condition was unpredictable. She is now back in school and Is doing fine. The power of faith and prayer? I think so. Along with the skilled efforts of the doctors. The other little girl is coming along fine too. She has had two operations opera-tions to remove blood clots but Will be fine. Mr. Morgan May Is home after spending some time in the Logan Hospital. Morgan had an infection in his throat caused from effects of the flu. He is still being medically medi-cally treated and hopes to be better soon. A month ago the Mays left home, part of the time Mrs. May stayed with Darleen to help with her daughter. Miss Judy May is staying with Darleen. Darleen's husband, Dale is a Legislator from Cache Valley. Mrs. Virginia Lovell and sister, Mrs. Louise Nielson both of Sunset, Utah visited with their cousin Mrs. Mary Henrie and other relatives Mrs. Alice Benson and others. They are former residents of Oak City. Their father was a brother to Mary's father, Mr. Leo Lyman. We were all saddened to hear of Mr. Isaac Losee's sudden death.
