I On Tuesday the following ladies attended a special Judging school at Kichfield in which 4 counties were represented. 72 ladies were present. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Milden Scow Wed. and Thurs were Mr. and Mrs. Ivon Workman from Hurricane Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Dewsnup and family of Bountiful and Mrs. considered on trade-in. NOTICE NOTICE is hereby given that a public meeting on the proposed Delta City budget for the fiscal year, July 1, 1968, through June 30, 1969, will be held in the City Council Room of the Delta City Building, Monday, July 8, 1968, 7:30 to 8:00 p.m. All citizens are invited to attend and to present items which they feel should be included in the bud get or to offer objections they might have to the proposed allotment allot-ment of funds for the fiscal year. Mrs. Nora Cropper was hostess to the Deseret Garden Club Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon. Members met at the store and then Mrs. Crop per and Mrs. Eliason took cars and the ladies went on a tour which was arranged by Mrs. Cropper. They visited the lovely outdoor gardens or Mrs. cieone lomen, Mrs. Eleanor Murrav. Mrs. Rhea Reid, Mrs. Reva Bliss. Then on to Hinckley fireplace where Mrs. Crop per served a very delicious luncn. Members present were Bertrice Erickson, Er-ickson, Beverly Eliason, Cleo Eliason, Elia-son, Edna Christensen, Lu Larsen, Fay Davis, Gertrude Western, Lu-cile Lu-cile Hales and Nora Cropper. Bishop and Mrs. Dean L. Black and daughters Audrey and Linda spent Monday and Tuesday in Salt Lake on business. The children of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Warner of Salt. Utah Power & Light Co. electricity is plentiful ... and cheap Cultural Hall. After a short honeymoon honey-moon they will make their home in Deseret. Robert is employed at the Co-op at Delta. We wish them much success and happiness. Miss Cindy Meacham from Las Vegas is spending her vacation with her cousin, Miss Iris Ann Anderson. And-erson. Phil Christensen, who has been in the Service, returned home Saturday. Sat-urday. He received his honorable discharge and is spending a few days with his mother, Mrs. Edna Christensen and his sister, Beverly Eliason and family. Darrel and Alice Caye Scow of Logan spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Milden Scow and Mrs. Alice Bliss. Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Allred and children of Bountiful were here for the wedding reception of Robert Rob-ert and Beverly Allred. They also visited with Darrel's parents, Mr and Mrs. T. B. Allred. Mrs. Golden Henstrum and Miss Neva Cropper of Salt Lake were here for a few days. They attended attend-ed Church, Sunday, and renewed acquaintances with the ward members. mem-bers.
