Mrs. Faris (Ann) would like the people of Hirickley know how much she appreciated so many coming up to attend funeral services for her husband when he passed away. She still treasures her friendships and remembers the people of Hinckley. Mrs. Faris :s blind now. ' I Mrs. Carol Bishop entertained at a teen-age party Saturday night. The Waldo Warnick, Jr. family of Roy were down this week. Ralph and Blanche Crafts hosted at a canyon supper one evening last week. Attending were Mr. and . I The Teacher's Quorum of the Aaronic Priesthood held a party at the reservoir, Saturday evening. Water skiing and boating were en- joyed along with refreshments. Beryl Hardy and Diane visited in Holden last week for a day with Beryl's parents, the Clyde Woods, her sister, Mrs. Eudeno Thompson and children. I At the Karl Workmans this week was Karl's cousin and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan (Itha) Workman from Hurricane. I Nets Petersen left this week to go to Denver, Colo, on business. His family remained here with his folks, the Lowell Petersens. Mrs. Dorothy Spencer was in Salt Lake last week with Mrs. Arvilla Swenson on business. Louis and Judy Tolbert and baby from Ely, were here Saturday with Lloyd Tolbert and the Al Jenkins in Delta. Clark Toibert of Smith-field Smith-field came down to help Lloyd irrigate ir-rigate his farm. Clark's family Is in Illinois to visit his wife's folks. Ray end Carmella Hoelzle. celebrated cele-brated their 19th wedding anni versary last week. Many more happy years together, friends. j Jack and Vera Rushton of Ely visited with the Alva Youngs and Mrs. Margaret Taylor, Saturday. Lissa and Leslie Marstella of Phoenix, Arizona went home on the train Saturday. They had been here with their grandmother, Margaret Mar-garet Taylor, for a few weeks. The weather In Phoenix has been 116 degrees. I'll bet they think Abraham Abra-ham was "cool." They are the daughters of Barbara Taylor Mar-steila. Mar-steila. Miss Emily Young has gone to Salt Lake to attend the University of Utah. She will stay with the Junior Young family, I think. A bee stung me Sunday, and do I ever make a fuss at a bee sting! This is the second one this summer! We've heen taking our grand- kids to the reservoir to swim most every evening. There is always a crowd there, beating, water skiing and swimming. A nice place to go. We are happy to hear that Mrs. Frances Bohn and Mrs. Marvel! Clayton are well enough to be out' of the hospital. Hope they are getting get-ting along alright. Mr. Pete Twitchell, Jr., of Ogden and his family, visited the Karl Murrays this week. Karl and Eleanor Murray went to Beaver to fish last weekend, RUBY SKEEM Sacrament meeting was given by M-Men and Gleaners, Refer S!anworth, Peggy l.ovell, Teresa Buchanan and IVan Moody. Fireside Fire-side was given by Cordell Cropper. Crop-per. Ho showed films of his trip to France, Spain and Italy. Stepheney and Gill Gillen spent a lew days with their aunt and family, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Sor- ensen. Leavean and Onal Gillen spent Wednesday and Thursday in Fill more with her daughter, Coleen Dastrup. Everyone is proud of the air-conditioning air-conditioning in the chapel. Little Debra Stanworth, daugh- teer of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Stan-worth Stan-worth of Salt Lake is staying with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Stanworth, this week. Loren and lieulah Rowley were members of the group attending the ASC tour in Weber and Morgan , Counties last week. They stayed 'in Ogden two nights and returned ' Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Catling and family of Bountiful spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Fon Haw-ley. Haw-ley. Kim and Paul stayed for a longer visit. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Johnson visited vis-ited Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Hawley last week. Beth Day and Ulu Day took Ula's and Don's son, Bill, to Salt Lake where he left for the U.S. Army. Good luck. Bill. It seems this year's crop isn't as good as usual on most of the places. There has been n lot of weevil damage, so it had to be cut. Jesse and Vivion Nielson went to Arizona last week. They went to get Leona Hoffman and son, Rusty to bring them up to spend a couple of weeks visiting with family and friends. Buster and Myrtle Timms sold their ranch at Callao and will soon bo moving. We are rll sorry to see them go and wish them the best of everything at their new home. Mr. and Mrs. Don Van Horn, also, al-so, sold their ranch. They are making mak-ing plans to leave Gandy soon. We wul miss them and wish them the best. They are planning to move back to Arizona.
