Mr. Rogers took first place In the 1908 Hare and Hound Knee (motorcycle) held over the weekend at Cherry Creek, favorite spot tor ninny locals. The Hare and Hound, sponsored by the Salt Lake Motorcycle Club, Is considered to be one of the most grueling races In the world. It attracts at-tracts cycling enthusiasts from everywhere. Almost every state if the union plus foreign countries were represented in the 1908 races. Thorn were 190 entrants this year. Only 21 completed the course The coveted first place trophy was on display at the Rancher Cafe until noon Monuay. Mr. Rogers took the trophy from Ken Hnbi'ck, Seattle, Washington and 1!)G7 winner.
