We want to congratulate the Delta Rabbits on the magnificent game they played with the Millard Eagles Thursday night. Doug Bailey's Bai-ley's magic performance netting him 31 points was something to see. All the boys did a beautiful job. I don't know how they can play so fast. It almost gave me heart trouble to watch them. Even if the Eagles did win. by one point, our boys did a fine job and we love them. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Ferre of Salt Lake brought Mrs. Sebrina Robinson Robin-son to visit Mrs. Violet Robinson Thursday afternoon. Sebrina has spent the winter with her children. She went back to Salt Lake to stay with her daugher, Marie, until Spring really arrives. A family dinner was held Sunday Sun-day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Ekins in honor of Sebrina's birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Black and family of Orem, also son, David of BYU, Mrs. Lydia Ekins and Fanny Fan-ny Lee Hilton all were invited guests. Mr. Wm. B. Pratt brought his new wife, the former Pearl Clements Clem-ents of Richland, Wash, to Hinckley Hinck-ley for a weeks visit. They were married Jan. 12st in the Oakland Temple, then visited the Los An-rje'.es An-rje'.es and St. George Temples on their vacation. They will be here a week then return to Richland to make their home. We congratuale Bill and wish them all the best things in life and much happiness. College students who were home over the weekend were Kenny Talbot, Tal-bot, Geniel Webb and Donald Peter sen of CSU; Ilollie Manis, Trade Tech, Provo; Ina Lee Tippelts and two girl friends, Sharrid Norland and Debbie Campbell, BYU; Shirley Spencer and girl friend, Sherry Anderson, An-derson, USU; Leslie and Linda Jo Diehl were here also. Leslie works In Salt Lake, Jo attends Weber College. Lewis Swensen was here from BYU. Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Swensen spent three days in Salt Lake then went to Nevada over the weekend to see their friends, the Cotterels. M. and Mrs. DeVon Dennison and son of Cedar visited their parent this week. Their mother, heath, ,s recovering nicely from recent surgery. sur-gery. She and her husband were in Salt Lake over the wekend. Mrs. Beatrice Tippetts returned from a week's visit with her husband hus-band in California. Carl and Beryl Hardy spent Saturday Sat-urday in Salt Lake then Sunday they went to Holden for a family dinner with Beryl's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Wood and her two sisters of Salt Lake were there. 1 Mrs. Alice Bliss had her niece, Carole Hardy Killpack and husband Dale, of Firth, Idaho stop in Sun-, Sun-, day. A week ago they and Vin and Chris Cropper went to Brian Head I at Cedar to ski. Carole had an ac-I ac-I cident and broke her leg in two 1 places. She has three children and ' will have to be in a cast for six months. They returned to their home in Firth Sunday. Mrs. Elva Skeem came home , from Oakley, Ida. where she teach- es home economics. She returned to her job Tuesday. Mrs. ElDean Ekins of Tooele spent a week with her mother, Mrs. Tamson Greener. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Manwell and family of Provo were here Sunday. Sun-day. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Galli went to Cedar Sunday to attend a recital re-cital at CSU in which their son, Allen was singing. Carol and Arthur Bishop, Golda and Jim Talhot. went to Henderson. 'Nev. to see Mr. and Mrs. Jay (Lin-i (Lin-i da) Riding and family; also to Las Vegas to see Pete and Eric Stewart Stew-art and families. On the way they visited in St. George with Gale Stewart and Reed Talbot's families. Dawn Finlinson of BYU spent the weekend with her grandmother, Alice Bliss. Karen Richman, Gail Bishop, and Barry Bishop all of BYU visited with Mr. and Mrs. Verdell Bishop last weekend. Elaine Hardy left the end of the week to attend the funeral services for her little niece, six-year-old, Kelly Mayer, daughter of Betty and Vern Mayer of San Lorenza, Calif. Betty is a sister of Elaine's. friend and neighbor. We sympathize sympa-thize with the parents and family. The largo crowd at his funeral in Sutherland shows how many friends and neighbors they have here. Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Oliver made a trip to Salt Lake during the week and visited with their child ren, Mr. and Mrs, Ron Oliver and family returning Saturday. They also attended a wedding reception for a niece. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hastings of Cednr visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Losee and family and j were hero Sunday when fclcier Roger Shurtz phoned from Scotland where he is on a mission. (It came in very clear.) Mr. and Mrs. Art Hill made a trip to Salt Lake for a visit with their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Bud West. Gerry has had a bad infection in her finger, but is now better. (We hope.) Elva Stone, mother, Sarah Mc-Cullough, Mc-Cullough, and sister, Fern Sampson made a trip to Salem for a visit with a sister there and spent the day, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jensen and Ross Jenren made a trip to Colo, for a visit with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Jensen and family In Colorado Springs. Mr. and Mrs. Devon Roper and family of Tempe, Ariz, visited with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mel Terry and family, also visited Mrs. Henrietta Barben and Marie, Mr. and Mrs. Curt Shields and other I relatives. ,Mr. and Mrs. Manley Abbott and small baby of Clearfield also visited visit-ed them and mother, Mrs. Doris Abbott. They came for the funeral of Devon's sister. Doris Abbott is moving to town to live. We hope it isn't permanent. We can't lose any more. We are sorry to see her go. Tressa Jenson returned Sunday from her visit North and the funeral fun-eral of her sister. Sunday night the program was given by Seminary teacher, Ralph Erickson and family. Talks were given by Glen, the mother, Donn-etta, Donn-etta, Mark and Ralph, a poem by Sherry, a piano selection by Fred and a song by Reed accompanied by Mark. A very good program and we invite them to come again. Bertrice Erickson visited with them. Our community was saddened by the death of ' Randy Jensen, Kelly died of leukemia. Teresa Meinhardt who has been visiting her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hardy returned home Friday. ,She went up on the train with her grandmother. Mr. and Mrs. Hon Cropper are spending several days in Las Vegas with their son, Darrell and family. They left Thursday. The MIA operetta "All in Favor" will be presented next Tuesday evening at the Elementary school. Mrs. Ruth Talbot was taken ill this week, but has improved. Everyone sends their . heartfelt sympathy to the Jack' Jensen family fam-ily at the dea'h of their young son, Randy. OASIS RUBY SKEEM Mr. and Mrs. Russell Slyler, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Bishop, Mis. Ethel M. Stanworth and Mrs. Erma Stylor went to Manti for two sessions in the LDS Temple. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Slyler and family celebrated Kevin's birthday by going to Richfield to attend the State Wrestling Tournament. Mr. and Mrs, Grant Humphries visited Saturday and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Loren Rowley and Mr. and Mrs. Cleve Rowley. It's good to see Mrs. Cleve Rowley homo from the hospital. Bruce and Leighann Anderson of Dugway visited here and attended the state wrestling meet. Faye Howell received word from her son, Sam Sledge, that he had arrived in Vietnam all right. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Stanworth were home for the weekend. Alice Webb and I went to Oak City to attend the funeral services for Bernice Alldredge. It was a lovely service and they have reared rear-ed a lovelv family. Mr. J. Val Slyler and Hilda Gillen received word of the death of their sister, Mrs. Velora James, Seal Beach, Calif. Mrs. James was reared rear-ed in Oasis and lived at the Black Rock ranch for many years. Stella Hawley spent the weekend week-end in Bountiful with her children, Dale, Robert, and Marlene and their families. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Lovell and family of Eureka visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Bishop and attended sacrament meeting. Beth Day's mother, Mrs. Williams of Provo, visited with Beth and girls last week. Beth and girls drove her home to Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Cameron Adams and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Church gave the program in Sacrament meeting.
