Delta's 1st Loss Last Friday, September 22, the Rabbits lost their first game with 0 score of 3.1-0. This practice game was played with White Pine at Ely. Delta's loss can ho attributed to many factors: The Rabbits were receiving penalties hand over fist. As a matter of fact, the Rabbits lost over 100 yards in penalties, almost al-most before the game and players got to rolling. According to Steven Sperry it took six tries to punt the ball. Imagine doing the same down over six times because of penalties. As if penalties were not enough, the Rabbits also had to cope with a muddy field. Have you over tried to hang onto a muddy b''ll with muddy hands? Let me tell you that is hard. Besides "H this, Delta was playing on a field that was unfamiliar, unfam-iliar, and there wasn't a bii; crowd cheering for them either. Hut even so the Rabbits should have done better because' they do have a name to live up to. This Friday Delta pluys Richfield. So let's all support the team. Let's cheer them on to victory. Let's not settle for second place. Support the Mighty Rabbits. NEW FACES AT DHS Melba Tasobson: A new face in the office this year is that of Mrs. Melba Jacob-son. Jacob-son.
