She is now at home. We wish her a speedy recovery. Visiting on Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Black were Mr, and Mrs. Evan Theo bald and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bliss of Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dewsnup vis ited Wednesday at Flowell with Bill and Ulala Mace. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Peterson received re-ceived word of the arrival of their first great-grandchild, A baby girl was born Jan. 6, to Mr. and Mrs. Earl Boss at Calif. Mrs. Boss is the former Shelia. Myers. Congratulations Congratula-tions to all. Mrs. Myrle Bennett arrived home Friday after having spent the past month in Las Vegas with her son, Blaine Cahoon and family and in Calif, with son, Glen and family. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Hales, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Crafts, Mable Olson and Fern Crafts attended an Open-House Open-House at Roosevelt Saturday in honor of newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Boender. Tom is the son of Jack and Mary Crafts Boender. Marilyn Mace of Logan was home for the weekend with parents Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Mace. Wally Western of Price and Donna Olberry of Provo and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Western of Salt Lake were at the home of Faun and Luella Western for the weekend. week-end. Bill Conk, who has employment at Tooele was home for the weekend week-end with wife Lorraine and children Billy, Jim and Valinda. Darrel and Alice Gaye Scow of Logan were home for the weekend to visit their parents, Milden and Arprilla Scow at Deseret and Alice Bliss at Hinckley. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Taylor and son Tim from Milford, Utah visited Sunday at the home of Floral's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Webb. Robert Allred from Cedar was home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs Orin Allred, over the weekend. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ormus L. Dutson Sunday were Steve Church, BYU student, was home over the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ned Church. Another son, MacKay, US Navy, reached home from Memphis, Tenn. earlier this week for a thirty-day leave. He will be stationed temper-arily temper-arily at Camp Pendleton, Calif, when his leave is completed. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Western and son, Donald and Misses Gertrude and Bernice Western spent Sunday in Eureka with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Tomkinson. The Westerns and Mr. Tomkinson are cousins. Mr. and Mrs. Don Bunker and two children of Colton, Calif, spent Saturday with Mrs. Bunker's sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. David Church and children. Mr. and Mrs. Bunker were on a business trip to Delta. BYU student, Diane Patten of Mansfield, Ohio and Lynette Riding spent the weekend with Miss Riding's Rid-ing's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Riding. Grandparents again are Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Jeffery. A baby boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. Dennis (Deanna) Newbold Jan. 4. They have two older children, Paul and Denise. The older children have been with their grandparents since the arrival of the new baby. Mr. Newbold came from their South Jorden home over the weekend to return their children home. Mr. and Mrs. Med Hawley and Mrs. Hawley's mother, Mrs. Mina Steele left Thursday for the weekend week-end in Las Vegas with Vern and Sue Hawley Stewart and their son, Cregory. Mrs. Steele went on to Boulder City and visited another daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. White. Mr. and Mrs. Hawley and Mrs. Steele returned to their homes Sunday night. Mr. and Mrs. Seth Jackson visited in Holden Sunday with Mr. Jackson's Jack-son's mother, Mrs. Margaret Jackson. Jack-son. Mr. and Mrs. LaMont Works hear from their son, Fred, US Navy at Maryland that he is enjoying his assignment at the naval base and that he talks with his friend, Ed Morris of Hinckley frequently. Ed spent part of the holiday season with Fred and his wife, the former Margie Judd of Hinckley. He is at home in Leamington. Mrs. Effie Johnson spent last week in Lynndyl at the Lile Johnson John-son home where Mrs. Hettie Johnson John-son is quite ill. Wednesday evening Mr. and Mrs. Owen Benson, Bert Max, Lester, and their wives spent the evening. Effie returned to her home in Los Angeles Saturday. Mrs. Kirt Overson and Miss Dar-lene Dar-lene Overson drove to Salt Lake Saturday for the day. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Overson drove to Salt Lake Friday to keep a doctors doc-tors appointment for Louis. He has been unable to work for sometime. They visited with their family en-route. en-route. Mrs. Phyllis Nelson took sons, Bill and Jim to Salt Lake for the day Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Tillman Johnson, Ross Johnson, Mrs. Connie Tolbert attended funeral services in Hurricane Hurri-cane with Mr. and Mrs. Lile Johnson John-son for Lile's father, Frank T. Johnson. John-son. They returned home Thursday bringing Mrs. Stella Jones of Logan Lo-gan with them. She went on to Salt Lake with Ross and Connie after an overnight stay at the Lile Johnson home. Mr. and Mrs. Phill C. .Nielson drove to Salt Lake for a day last week. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Nielson drove to Ogden for a parent-teacher conference con-ference at the school that Glen and Ranee are attending. The children returned home with them for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Junior Baird and family visited with Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Wilkins Sunday. High Counselman Lyle Bunker was the visiting speaker at church Sunday. Mrs. Bunker accompanied him and rendered two musical numbers. Mr. and Mrs. Don Watts, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Thompson and Mrs. Jean Ashby visited at the Roy Nielson home one day last week. They all live in Springville. Mrs. Marilyn Eatough spent several sev-eral days in Salt Lake with her mother last week. Mrs. Laura Bradfield is still confined con-fined to the Nephi hospital. We attended another funeral this week of our old friend Mrs. Nora Bishop. John says he has known her husband Don A. 70 years, one of the first he can remember. The Bishops were so good to our kids when they went to school in Hinckley Hinck-ley and we so appreciated It. Our love and sympathy is for Don and all the family. Sherman Tolbert went to Nev. Wednesday. Little Tressa Fullmer, year old baby of Almon Jr. and Dian Cahoon Fullmer is in the West Millard Hospital Hos-pital at present with a respiratory ailment. Tracy and Sandra Fullmer and baby Tracy Jean were here over the weekend and Geniel Fullmer went back with them to Tooele. Clark and Reva Bliss enjoyed a nice visit Saturday, from ferron Bliss and wife Julia and their daughter dau-ghter and two sons. They live in Spanish Fork. Ferron's health is fine now we are so glad to hear. We wish Monroe Corbett a happy birthday, Jan. 12th. He has had the flu pretty bad, hope he is soon OK. Clark and Reva Bliss enjoyed a nice visit Friday with their old friend fri-end from Hinckley, Lucian Keller. Gladys and Sherman Tolbert attended at-tended the services for Steven Lee at the Nickle Mortuary last week. Steven's mother, Lois Pate Lee was Gladys' girl friend. Lois is married again since Seth Lee's death. They live in Calif. Marvin Moody was the speaker. I saw a robin the other day but I know he's simply lost. We just heard of the sudden death of John Wind Sunday morning. morn-ing. Our sympathy is extended to all the family and especially his wife, who has cared for him so faithfully for years, since his first illness. Elladene Corbett and baby and her girls visited us Sunday.
