William G. Bangerter of the Home Teaching Committee, Parry D. Sorenson and Mrs. Klea E. Wors-ley Wors-ley of the Mutual Improvement Associations will be official Church representatives from Salt L-ke City. Elder Bangerter is a former President Pres-ident of the Brazilian Mission. He has been active in Church leadership leader-ship as president of the Granger and North Jordan Stakes. The home teaching program assures as-sures that all families are visited at least once each month so local leaders will know that the physical and spiritual ' eds are taken care of. Elder Sorensen is an assistant to the president of the University of Utah and the University's public relations director. Mrs. Worsley has been Primary and Relief Society president and ward and stake YWMIA president. She Is presently a counselor for women at Rrigham Young University, Univer-sity, where she obtained her B.A. and M.A. degrees. She has done graduate study at the University of Utah, UCLA, and Cambridge in England. Meetings will be held Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Stake House. Stake President Emerald L. Moody will conduct. Visitors are welcome. ? Saturday calls for several sessions ses-sions of information for various church leaders. The schedule will be as follows: Priesthood Home Teaching 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Meeting on Home Teaching Those to be present are the Priest hood Home Teaching Representative Representa-tive and the Stake Presidency. 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. To be present: Priesthood Home Teaching Representative, Stake Priesthood Executive Committee consisting of Stake Presidency and Clerk, all members of High Council except advisor to MIA. 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. To be present: Home Teaching Representative, Stake Priesthood Executive Committee, Ward and Branch Priesthood Executive Committees Com-mittees MIA 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. - Seperate YMMIA and YWMIA sessions To be present: MIA General Board Member, High Council Advis-sor Advis-sor for MIA, all stake MIA Executives Execu-tives and Board. 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Joint Session To be present: MIA General Board Member, High Council Advisor Advi-sor for the MIA, all stake MIA Executives Ex-ecutives and Boaid Members. 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. To be present: MIA General Board Member, High Council Advisor Advi-sor to MIA, all stake MIA Executives Execu-tives and Board Members, all ward MIA Executives. 5:45 to 6:00 p.m. Priesthood Home Teaching Representative Rep-resentative and MIA General Board Members meet with stake presidency presi-dency for speaking assignments. Leo is doing fine at the present and absence until un-til the 15th of Jan. and will see if an operation is necessary then. Good health to you Leo. Mr. and Mrs. Art Hill and Artie made a trip to Salt Lake to spend New Years eve and New Years day with their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Bud West. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Shurlz and small children made a trip to Salt Lake Monday. Doris Abbott has moved home from Delta and we are glad to have her. She will visit in Layton for awhile with her daughter, Mary Lin and family. Mr. and Mrs. Billie Mills ,on their return home from spending the weekend in Ely, with College stuaents will oe especially especial-ly interested in west Millard County. Coun-ty. They visited with Mr. and Mrs. Kent Shurtz and family, Jeanne Terry and family of Ogden, and Keith Barben and family of Marysvale, visited Thursday with Mr. and Mrs Leo Davis, Henrietta and Marie Barben. Mr. and Mrs. Val Sorenson of Salt Lake visited over the weekend and New Years with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jensen and family. Mr. and Mrs. Curt Shields are home for the winter. We are happy to have them, with us again. Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Oliver called Carl Oliver on his birthday in Norman, Nor-man, Oklahoma, they are all well and doing fine. Mr. Elden Shurtz made a trip to Salt Lake Thursday to bring Ireta and little daughter Kay Lynn after her operation. She is doing fine. A letter from Dean Losee was read Sunday in chuurch by Bishop Roy Losee thanking the ward for the tape recorder sent to him for Christmas. Four phones have been put in for Christmas, Bob Jensons, Roy Losee, Bill Claj-k and Isaac Losee. Our sympathy goes to the Clay-son Clay-son Cahoon family. A slumber party was given by Phyliss Jenson at her home Thursday Thurs-day night, twenty girls attended, with sleeping bags. A good time was had by all and a good breakfast break-fast the next morning. - Mr. and Mrs. Albert Smith and family of Dugway visited over the weekend.
