There were eight of the origin al families present. Some of the family members were unable to attend. at-tend. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. Clarance East, Betty Lou Lovell and LaRita Pratt. A most delicious dinner din-ner was served and enjoyed by everyone. A Christmas program was given by members of the family fam-ily and recorded as part of the fam ily history. The New Years day was lovely with plenty of sunshine for which everyone was happy. It has been especially lovely to have Christmas and New Years on Sunday this year The students are having their last fling before going back to school on Monday. We have enjoyed enjoy-ed having the students at home during the holiday season. Ivan and Susan Shipley have had an especially nice holiday season sea-son by having their family at home tho not all at once. Geniel and Roy Martin and children of Calif., Ver-na Ver-na May and Don Drollinger and children of Salt Lake and Larry and wife and children of Salt Lake, and Lavon's family is of course here all the time. Susan and Ivan entertained the John Nielson family Sunday evening even-ing at a party following church. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Anderson of Pleasant Grove were here to attend the party and visit friends and rela tives, Sunday. LaMar Anderson and his fiance visited from Payson with LaMar's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Anderson. An-derson. The dance of the month was held in Oak City on Friday evening. The hall was decorated very lovely. Eddie's Orchestra supplied the music. A large crowd attended. The theme of the dance was 'Its a Marshmellow World". Mrs. Quin Sheppard received word her brother Thayne Roberts is very ill at this time. We wish him a quick recovery. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Christensen went to Brigham City to spend Christmas with their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Vance (Karen) West and children, Eric, Sharilynn and Rachel The past two Christmas seasons were spent in England and it's good to be with familiy members again. Their son Craig is on a mission mis-sion in Canada. Mrs. Fern Mortensen and children brought Mrs. Amanda Whicker home to spend New Years weekend in Delta visiting brothers Wallace and Cieo and families and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Ross had daughter Mr. and Mrs. Wes (Sharon) (Shar-on) Dutson and little girl Dorothy here for the holidays. Dorothy celebrated cel-ebrated her third birthday here Dec. 19. Spec. 5 Darryl Ross called his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Ross from Hawaii to wish them Happy New Year. Its been 19 months since he was home. Mr. and Mrs. Dell Ross announce the birth of another granddaughter at the Tooele Valley Hospital, Dec. 28 weighing inat 71bs 8V4 oz. born to Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Shirley Eckols) Oliver. Mr. and Mrs. Dell Ross have another great granddau ghter the parents are Marilyn and Howard Durrout of Springville. Valerie Val-erie will be one year old Jan. 31. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene (Arlene) Dennison and family of Tooele visited the Dell Rosses and Grandma Grand-ma Inga Dennison of Delta for the holidays. He has just recovered from a broken ankle which had infection and a very slow recovery and now is in the West Millard Hospital suffering from a spine injury in- flicted when a steer pushed him into a truck bed as it was being loaded into the truck. Willard and Geneviere are gett ing along fine at present after such serious illnesses. Mrs. Ann Finlinson, who was taken to the West Millard Hospital Saturday for treatment, came home Monday. Ellis Anderson was also taken to the West Millard Hospital for treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Anderson had their daughters, Edith and Genevieve and families and Macel and Paul Anderson at their home for New Years dinner. Mr. ana MIS. They spent Chri9tmas in Toooele with daughter Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd (Connie) Theobald and fam- ily of 5 children. Monday Weldon Theobald had a heart attack and is in the xooeie Valley Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Alldredge spent the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Adrain Alldredge. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Ludwig had son, Mr. and Mrs. Paul (Susan Willoughby) Ludwig and daughter Sue Ann and fiance Larry Globe home for the holidays. Mr. Martin Ludwig is a surgical patient in the LDS Hospital at this time. We hope he is soon able to be home. Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton McCul-lough McCul-lough had their daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Lee (Carol) Stewart and son Cris of Washington, Ut., also Elsie and Mr. and Mrs. Howard (Luana) Jenson and son Brad, Mrs. Saraah McCullough all home for Christmas dinner. Elsie is working in Salt Lake and plans to attend school. We extend heart felt sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cahoon who are members of our ward. Their mother, Hazel Cahoon passed away suddenly leaving a host of sad friends. She will long be remembered remember-ed for her quick smile and friendliness. Sid Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Davis is enrolled at the Utah State University, Logan. Sid underwent under-went eye surgery in Sept. and has been unable to resume his studies until winter quarter.
