Show Millard County Chronicle Thursday, November 17, 1966 SOCIAL TtTtr.. i Questions and Answer ill M yuan mm m m The Social Security District Manager Man-ager at Provo gave this advice when asked when Is the best time to enroll for Medicare: " Are you going to become 65 years old within with-in the next 3 or 4 months? If you are, there are some important things you should know about WHEN to enroll for voluntary medical med-ical Insurance under medicare. The how Is Important, too; but that is easy enough to find out when the time comes. The when takes a little more thought, because you have to plan it on your calendar so you won't miss any insurance benefits if you need them." To get started with the program of voluntary medical insurance under medicare, everybody who was 65 or over before January 1, 19C6 was given an initial period in which to enroll, beginning September Septem-ber 1, 10G5 and ending March 31, 19G6. If you are approaching 65, don't wait until the month of your birthday birth-day to sign up. Get in touch with your social security office in one of the three months before your birthday birth-day month. That way you will have protection for both hospital bills and doctor bilis as soon as you roach C5. If you have Questions or wish to have help with an application applica-tion a representative will be at Delta, Utah at the County Office Building on November 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p. m. to aid you. can best express my THANKS TO YOU PEOPLE OF MILLARD COUNTY for supporting me in this general election, by giving you, during my term of office, of-fice, the type of service as your County Commissioner that you expect and deserve.
