Mr. Young went on to Palm Springs and Lola stayed to visit her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Needham, with Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Works, Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Lister and family and Mrs. LaFay Corey and son David. Mrs. Margaret Jackson of Holden spent last Wednesday afternoon visiting with us and Mr. and Mrs. Seth Jackson. She came over with Mrs. Wilford Bennett who visited with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clif-ferd Clif-ferd Petersen and her brothers and sister. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hardy, Mrs. Blanch Works. Alisha Jackson, Jessie Jes-sie and I went to Holden Friday noon and had dinner with Mrs. Grant Stevens, Mrs. Josephine Stevens Ste-vens and Mrs. Guy Phelps. After dinner I stayed in Holden and visited vis-ited with my mother and sister. The Hardys and Grandma Works went to Fillmore to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Crapo, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Deardon, Mr. and Mrs. Don Rowley and Mrs. Roland Stevens Ste-vens and new baby boy. This new baby is a great-grandson of Mrs. Blanch Works and a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Stevens. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Jensen and family fa-mily spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Jensen and other members of the family. Mr.' and Mrs. Chester Jacobs of Ogden are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. David Jacobs. Mr. and Mrs. WUlard Atkins and part of their family viisited Saturday Satur-day wi n Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Workmen. Work-men. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Hardy and family visited in Delta Saturday and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Fioyd Hardy and family. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Wood of Salt Lake visited the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Newell Iverson and Mr. and Mrs. Lon Wood. Mr. Velmer Odean returned home Sunday after spending two weeks vacation visiting in Nebraska. Boys and girls that were home over the weekend that I saw were Larry Odean, Robert Bennett, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Barber, McKay Church, Florence Church, Dwaine Jackson, Craig Hardy, Beverly Petersen. Pet-ersen. I think they all came home to the Delta High Homecoming which turned out just what the school ordered. The weather was wonderful, we won the football game and the dance and banquet was well attended. I saw Mrs. Fontella Bishop to Sunay School. I hadn't seen her for sometime. Arch'e, Kenneth, Stere and Tex Searle were all here for the deer hunt. They visited with Mr. and Mrs. Dell Searle. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Hatch and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Ekins of Salt Lake came to Delta last Friday bringing Mrs. Carrie Black home. Mrs. Black had been in Salt Lake for about three weeks. We want to offer our sympa hy to Mrs. Junious Maxfield and to Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Maxfield and ail members of their families on the death of their 'husband, father and son, Junious Maxfield who died of a heart ailment in Ogden Monday, October 19. h. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Sperry re.urned home from a week's stay in Salt Lake where they visited with their children. Mr. and Mrs. Sid Searle and Tex Searle of Orem and Steve Searle of Spanish Fork were here to attend at-tend the graveside services for Junious Maxfield. Dr. and Mrs. Ileff Jeffery of Pro-vo Pro-vo visited last Thursday with Mrs. Adaline Jeffery. Other visitors over the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Olivar Tripp and Delora of Callao and Pearl Jeffery and Martha Shank of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Docia Dana of Salt Lake is visiting with her daughter and family, fa-mily, Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Maxfield. Mr. and Mrs. Evan B'rd and family fa-mily spent the weekend with Dr. and Mrs. M. E. Bird. Friday night and Saturday visitors visit-ors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Snow were their daughter and family, Mrs. Wayne Holt and children Joelyn, Kent, Kevin, Kim and Klayton of Enterprise.
