Show i Millard County Chronicle HINCKLEY SHARON S. WESTERN Mr. and Mrs. Lee Wilson were Hinckley visitors for a few days last week. Sid Morris has been at his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Morris for the last two weekends. Ralph Gronning is visiting his mother, Mrs. LaFay Corey. Eldon Ekins, Alice Gaye Bliss an David Ekins were home from school Saturday and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Talbot have moved to Wilcox, Ariz, where Afton and Earl Peterson live. They will be there for the winter. Janice Bishop is staying with her sister, Cherie Morris while her mother, mo-ther, Mrs. Maxine Bishop is attending attend-ing a National American Legion Auxiliary meeting in Indianapolis. Mrs. Susan Ashurst of Fillmore Thursday, October 29, 1964 visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Judd. Rex Sly and Richard Warnick of Reno, Nevada visited with the War nicks and Gladys Carter on their way home from two weeks in Nat-ches, Nat-ches, Wash, with Rex's mother. Cleone Talbot dropped in to see her mother, Golda Talbot Saturday. Rook Club was held at Gladys Carter's home. Guests were Carol Bishop, NaRae Petersen, Clara Stewart, Ste-wart, Delma Jean Galli, Golda Talbot, Tal-bot, and Berniece Palmer. Ruth Tal bot won 1st, Belva 2nd, Enid Dam-ron Dam-ron grand slam, Alta Warnick low and NaRae Petersen high guest. Ladd Cropper was here Sunday and spoke at the farewell for Cor-dell Cor-dell Cropper in Oasis Sunday night. Ronald Morris and his friend Shirley McCallie of Fresno, Calif, visited at the Harold Morris home this past weekend. They are going to school at the BYU. Margaret Ekins's fiance of Coalville Coal-ville visited at the George Ekins home. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Theobald visited vis-ited for two weeks in California. While there Carl attended the Southwest Petroleum Convention for two days in North Hollywood. They also visited their children, Mr. and Mrs. Verue Theobald and family fam-ily at Northridge, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Manwell and Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Theobald at Placentia and with Mr. and Mrs. Golden Theobald and family in Las Vegas, Nevada. David Hales ,recently returned missionary from the German Mission, Mis-sion, spoke at church Sunday night. It was a very interesting meeting and we want to thank him for coming. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Western visited visit-ed at the Alma Western home Saturday. Sat-urday. Clyde and Carolyn Stevens have their small daughter hospitalized in Delta. We hope she will soon be well enough to come home. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Randall went to Salt Lake Saturday. Sunday nite Larry spoke at a farewell testimonial testi-monial for his brother, Simon Bron-son. Bron-son. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Workman spent nine days traveling througn California. They went to Sacramento, Sacramen-to, the Bay Area, dow the Coast to Los Angeles, then home. They went through the Los Angeles temple tem-ple and on a tour of the Oakland temple. Many friends and relatives send their greetings to the folks in the West Millard area. They are Mr. and Mrs. Ken Sorenson, the Blanche Workman family, the Joe Ivies, Grant Reeve and Adelia, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Faulkner, Doug and Ivie Allred, Jack Harris and Moa Workman. OASIS RUBY SKEEM A nice farewell testimonial for Cordell Cropper was held last Sunday Sun-day evening. He h a d all of his aunts and uncles present except two. Some of the out-of-town guests present were Ladd Cropper and Cal vin Skeem, both speakers; Paul Ludwig and Bruce Anderson, returned re-turned missionaries; Mr. and Mrs. Martin Ludwig, Mr. and Mrs. Dana Pratt, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Damron, Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Webb, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Barber, Mr. and Mrs. Hon Cropper, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sampson, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Barber, Bar-ber, Mr. Les Webb, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Christensen, Mrs. Sebrina E-kins, E-kins, Mr. Edgar Mills, Lilly Mem-mott Mem-mott and Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Cropper. Crop-per. These are just a few. Mr. and Mrs. Demoin Bond and Voy Stewart and girl friend of Salt Lake visited with Mr. and Mrs. Dave Nichols, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Wilkins. Ralph Nichols joined them and they all went hunting. Mrs. Verda Stanworth had a nice birthday this week with a lot of guests calling on her. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Stanworth and daughter, Debra of Salt Lake City were home for the deer hunt and visited Mr. and Mrs. Ted Stanworth Stan-worth for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Alan Sumslon and their children Edward and Connie, of Ogden also visited their folks and went hunting. Miss Leigh Ann Townson of Salt Lake City was here for the weekend week-end with Bruce Anderson. ' " ' "" Mr. and Mrs. Don . Annie Brinkerhoff of Beaver spent a few days with her daughter daugh-ter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Mor-gan Howell. Fay drove her back to Beaver and spent the day. Cassie Johnson went to Salt Lake to meet her daughter and husband, Betty and Howard of California. Howard went hunting. Mr. and Mrs. Ladd Kelly of River-ton River-ton spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Kelly and went hunting. June Stanworth and Beulah Rowley Row-ley went to Salt Lake where June kept an appointment with a doctor for her daughter, Tamra. Julie Skidmore visited in Oasis Sunday with Reed Skeem while he was home from Tooele. Mrs. Edna Cropper gave a party for her son, Cordell Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Arland Peterson and family of Pleasant Grave and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Peterson and baby Cindy of Sunset were in Delta for the deer hunt. J.
