Also last Friday Millie, Ray's wife, and daughter Connie, went to California by train to Visit and also take in Disneyland. Mr. and Mrs. Max Nielson were home over the weekend helping his dad, Fred, do some spring work. Roger and Nyra were also home helping with the farm work. Nyra was so hoarse she was only talking talk-ing in wh.spers. Hope she's feeling 'better toy now. Jack Nielson took his scouts on an overnight camping trip last Saturday Sat-urday and Sunday. They went up to the mine in the pass and stayed stay-ed overnite. Scouts going were Sylvan Lovell, Victor and Danny Bradfield, Scott Finlinson, Garth Nielson, Carl Nielson and Allen Ov-erson. Ov-erson. Mr. and Mrs. David Nielson and son were home over the weekend to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Nielson and boys. Mr. and Mrs; Randall Bradfield and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Bradfield attended the funeral of Mrs. Annie Hansen in Mt. Pleasant last Saturday. Satur-day. The boys and g rls are very 'busy getting ready for it. Jr.'s in Leamington this year are Phil Lovell, Mark Johnson, Owen Neilsen, Mary Jo Finlinson and Gayl Nielson. The farmers are really 'behind on their spring work th'.s year. We ve had so much snow and rain (which we really need) it has been impossible im-possible to do much. Visitors at the home of Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Bradfield last weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Bus Bennett of Tooele, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Williams and two children of Milford, Mrs. Jane Will ams and Don from Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Carpenter of Hinck ley and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bradfield of Lynndyl. Fred Finlinson, Sr. and Fred, Jr. were down from Salt Lake over the weekend helping Rich on the farm, Mr. and Mrs. Burton Hanson at tended a funeral Tor Burton's aunt in Levan last Tuesday. So, he decided to move into an apartment at the foot of the Baldwin Hills reservoir then came the big flood. So he decided he'd move to Eagle Rock where high on the slope of a hill he'd be safe from floods. The ones who attended the DUP Convention had an experience they won't soon-forget. At least, I for one, won't. But it was really some thing to see the church vault s.- Those of us from Delta were Zelda Ogden, West Miilard County pres., of DUP, Ella Black, Olive Barney, Romania Porter, LaVern Theobald, Levina Bunker and myself. I spent Friday with Julia Marshall. Marsh-all. We went to the St. Marks Hospital Hos-pital where Zola Lambright was released re-leased after surgery. She is staying stay-ing with Mr, and Mrs. M W. Marsh all in Tooele. I also v sited Mr. and Mrs. Paul Carter and Mrs. Neil Forster and children in. Bountiful Never catch Neil, he's always at work. Mrs. Ha Forster is home after spending several days in Bountiful and Logan with her sons. . Mr. Merrill Lambright spent several sev-eral hours in the LDS Hospital where he received treatment for food poisoning. He was released Saturday night. Mr. Oney Petty of Riverside, Calif is spending a few days in Delta visiting Mr. and Mra Elmer Petty also some of his friends. Community Church Things have been rather slow this past week since Easter-time has come and gone. Several families fam-ilies have had a touch of the flu. The new baby at the Urban house is named Shawn. Mrs. Jackie Abbott Ab-bott is doing better. She can be up for short periods of time now. She'd love to have visitors and talk to you on the phone.
