These, of course, are the superintendent superin-tendent and the elementary supervisor. super-visor. There are a total of 116 teachers tea-chers in the district, but as indicated indi-cated above, only two in the capacity ca-pacity of supervision and administration adminis-tration on the district level. 3. Mayor Lee's article refers to a one-to-three ratio of supervisors to teachers. It should be noted, however, how-ever, that the ratio policy under which we operate is one-to-nine and this includes not only supervisors, super-visors, but the superintendent, the librarians, the counselors, and the principals, for the prorated part of their administrative assignment. 4. Information in the files, indicate in-dicate that the supervisor and the superintendent have had raises only at such time as the teachers in the district have had raises, and in every case, contrary to what Mr. iee indicates, tne percentage increase in-crease has been more for teachers than for either the superintendent or the supervisor. The reason for this is that only blanket raises have been made to professional personnel. If the teachers have received re-ceived a $100.00 raise, the superintendent super-intendent and the supervisor have received a $100.00 raise. Board members are not included in district dist-rict salary raises. Their salary is set by the legislature and is $25.00 per month plus travel expenses.
