NOW. THEREFORE, we the delegates, dele-gates, assembled August 11, 1962 unanimously declare our intent to honor this long-standing agreement and support Beaver County in their rightful claim to the Senate office this year, and further announce that four years from now Millard County will expect to claim its right to name the Senate candidate for the Eighth Senatorial District. We believe that the violating of such mutually approved agreement tends only to permit the larger county, as has happened elsewhere, visited in Deseret a day or two last week. Io doiulnate the voting and perma-K'ntly perma-K'ntly claim the right to elect the Senator, sucii as has happened in Tooele and Juab Counties, where Tooele n o w claims permanent right, and as did happen in Sevier County, thus depriving the smaller county from ever selecting its candidate can-didate for office.
