Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Nielson returned re-turned Wednesday from a trip to the Fair in Seattle, Wash. They en-Joyed en-Joyed a trip to Victoria by boat. Their travelling companions were Mr. and Mrs. LaClead Nielson of Lynndyl. Their return trip through Salmon, Idaho gave them a chance to visit with Mr. and Mrs. John Prochico and family. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Nelson vis-, ited Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. j Jy Nelson. They were on their way ' to St. George to visit friends and vacation for a week. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Nielson and, children drove up Provo Canyon and around the Sky-line Drive on the 4th of July. Mrs. Jane Williams spent last week in Fillmore with her son Dern and his family. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wangsgard of Huntsville visited Monday and Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. Rich Finlinson and family and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Mclntyre and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Randall Bradfield and Wm. Bradfield met Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hanson and drove up Mt. Pleasant Canyon for a picnic lunch on the 4th of July. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nielson took their grand-daughters Brenda and Dian picnicing up Oak City Canyon on the 4th. Mr. and Mrs. O. L Johnson went into Sunset last Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Burnis Finlinson and family. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Vern Young and brought the one grandson Ronald Young home with them for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. LaForge Lovell drove into Salt Lake Tuesday to see their son Kay set apart as a missionary. Kay has spent the past week in school at the mission home. He was set apart by Spencer J. Kimball. The Lovells came home Tuesday night bringing with them Mr. and Mrs. Ben Lovell. Mr. Lovell has been in for an eye examination. Miss Sandra Willden came down with them to help her grandmother. Mr. and Mrs. LaForge Lovell went back in on Sunday to see Kay off on the tram for Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Willey Lovell and family spent a week of their vaca tion with Mr. and Mrs. Bud McCann. They all spent the 4th up Payson Canyon picnicing. Mr. and Mrs. Oral Nelson from Wildside, Calif., came Sunday night for their vacation in Leamington to visit with relatives and friends. Mr. ana Mrs. uarin Aaams irom Orem visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Welby Lovell. Hegmen Hickman from Reno, Nev visited with Mr. and Mrs. Burton Bur-ton Hanson and friends about town last Monday. The Finlinson family reunion was held in Oak City last Saturday. In town from the Joseph T. Finlinson family were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Finlinson Fin-linson and Judy,' Mr. and Mrs. Susan Su-san Weagle and Eddie, Mrs. Joe Foy and three children, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Finlinson and two children. Mr. and Mrs. Arlyn Finlinson and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Finlinson and family joined the Welby Finlinsons and Verdene Rawlinson and her family fa-mily at the reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Giant Nielson drove to Heber Valley Friday. They enjoyed en-joyed dinner and swimming at the Homestead Inn, then went on to Mirror Lake. Saturday they went into Salt Lake where they visited with Mrs. Violet Nielson and picked up their two children John and Bryan Bry-an who have been spending their vacation with their grandmother. Norma Nielson took her Sunday School class swimming in the Nephi swimming pool Friday evening. The 11 and 12 year olds reported a wonderful won-derful swim and a delicious picnic. Mrs. Elaine Johnson helped transport trans-port them to and from the pool. Monday morning the Lahoma girls in Primary went up the canyon can-yon and cooked their breakfast on tin cans. Primary workers accom- paning the girls were Joy Nielson i and Lorna Mclntyre. They reported they hadn't laughed so hard In a . long lime waicnmg me girls Keep I an egg on the cans to cook It. If the can was the least unbalanced the egg plopped off. At Sunday night Sacrament services ser-vices the program was brought from Delta by High Councilman Ru-lon Ru-lon Callister. He brought Melvin Hepworth who gave an interesting talk and sang "Thanks Be To God" with a trio composed of his wife, Carmen, Mrs. Dora Rose and Margo Rose, accompanied by Virginia Jensen. Jen-sen. Comments by Councilman Callister Cal-lister followed. Piano solo by Miss Vickie Nielson of Leamington. Prayers were given by Wm. Bradfield Brad-field and LWelby Finlinson. Mr. and Mrs. Von Clemmett and family were here from Payson Sunday Sun-day to visit Clara Johnson and Shirley Snyder and children before Shirley left for her home in Page, Ariz., Monday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Dern Williams and family of Fillmore visited Sunday with Mrs. Jane Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Anderson and family came down on the 4th of July. Mr. end Mrs. Don Hobison and children, Debbie and Mark, and their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Gardner, were in California last week and attended the Gardner reunion at Inglewood, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Merin Gardner. The Robisons returned home after a visit vi-sit at Disneyland, and the Gardners went on to Seattle and the Fair, making the trip with'lheir sister and brother-in-law, Artie and Rulon May.
