REG PEARSON Marriage Vows Made June 9 Chi Omega sorority house in Logan was the setting for the nuptials nup-tials which united Miss Carol Hutchison and Reg Pearson. Thomas Thom-as James Miechelson, grandfather of the bride, officiated, in a ceremony cere-mony June 9. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hutchison. The bridegroom bride-groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Pearson. the bride as matron of honor. Serving Serv-ing as best man for his brother, was Stephan Pearson. Ushering were Robert Quayle and Kent Bishop. The bride attended Utah State University, where she was a member mem-ber of Chi Omega sorority. The groom, also a student at USU, is presently engaged in working on his master's degree in Education. The newly wed couple is making Donald E. He is a graduate grad-uate of BYU and completed his tour of duty with the U.S. Navy. He is now employed at Tooele Ordinance De-put. A wedding reception in their honor hon-or will be held in the Kanosh Ward recreation hall on Friday evening, July 13, to which everyone is cordially cord-ially invited. The wedding party will greet friends from 8 until 10 o'clock. The couple will make their home in Delta until September, when school begins for Mrs. Willoughby at the Salt Lake Trade and Technical Techni-cal Institute. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Carl Haynes of Nephi. That evening the bridal pair were honored at a reception in the Sutherland Suth-erland Ward recreation hall. Mr. and Mrs. Ferrell Walker, parents of the bride, 'hosted the event. For her reception the bride selected se-lected a princess style gown of white taffeta and Alencon lace, featuring fea-turing a scalloped neckline and accented ac-cented by tiny bows just below the ' waistline. Her fingertip veil fell' from a crown of pearls and crys-1 tals, and her bouquet consisted of white orchids and blue roses. In blue dresses with white lace trim were bridal attendants, Miss' Linda Walker, sister of the bride,' Mrs. Carlene Malmgren, sister of the br deeroom. Following a short honeymoon, the newly weds are making their home In Nephi until fall, when Mr. Haynes will attend Utah State University Uni-versity at Logan. S xty-eight descendants of t h e David Ruffell family met at Oak City, Saturday, July 7, for their annual an-nual reunion. After entertainment and dinner the entire group went to Sutherland at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Max Johnson to continue their program. At 8:30 p.m., a program and meeting were held. Sunday, the group attended Sunday School, after af-ter which dinner was served to 37 people. Mr. and Mrs. Merrell Worsley and family and Martha Llndsey stayed until Monday morning. Others attending were Mrs. Irene Reynolds and children, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nielson and children, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Reynolds and Tina Raymond Reynolds, Percie and Lorraine Lor-raine Ruffell and family, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ruffell and son, Mr. tlctrothed Mr. and Mrs. Bud H. Bassett of Delta are announcing the engagement engage-ment of their daughter, Edith Paige, and Mr. Jerry Hawley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin J. Hawley, of Pelta. Wedding plans will be announced at a later date. Miss Bassett is a graduate of Delta High School and last year attended Utah State University fall quarter, and later attended College of Southern Utah.
