Yes, it is believed be-lieved to become one of the world's best water fowl nesting grounds for ducks and geese. Already they have 35 adult geese and 21 juvenile geese in the two flocks of Canadian Honkers. These birds will be kept in captivity at Fish Springs for two years then turned loose. It is hoped that they shall always return home to Fish Springs after their winter flights. Men are working hard to lay down the welcome mat for native and visiting birds. This four-year development de-velopment project will cost slightly more than $1,000,000. Pavement Pave-ment and landscaping will be the last items done. Hunter-Saucerman Construction Inc., of Idaho Falls, is doing the dike work. George Amick of Og Wolier County Sheriff's Posse To He at Ely Murrell Bigler, Captain of the Weber County Sheriff's Posse of Ogden, Utah, announces arrangements arrange-ments have been completed for the Posse's participation with Pony Express Ex-press Race meet in Ely, Nev. Mr. Bigler states that 45 mem bers of the Posse and their well trained horses will put on a show each day of the first weekend of racing in Ely. In addition the troop will put on one of their marvelous "Western Acts" on main street in Ely the night of August 19th, the day the races begin. Everyone should make plans now to be on hand for both week ends of racing August 19, 20, 26 and 27. Coast Meet Candlestick Park, San Francisco. has been selected for the largest West Coast convention of Jehovah's Jeho-vah's Witnesses this year, August 29 through September 3. Announce ment of the six-day gathering which is expected to draw more than 50,000 delegates was made by Donald Kozina, presiding minister of the Delta Congregation. Organizational arrangements are under the -supervision of Shield Halvajian, Inglewood minister and convention manager. Mr. Halvajian started off the assembly organiza tion when 1,715 members of Jehovah's Je-hovah's Witnesses gathered at the Oakland Auditorium Theatre. There he introduced A. L. Franck, veteran rooming manager, A'ho instructed the vanguard workers for canvassing canvass-ing the San Francisco area for rooms to house visiting delegates. Organizational appointments of 20 department heads j and preliminary prelim-inary assignments to co-ordinate them were later made by Mr. Halvajian Hal-vajian at a special meeting of 197 key men.
