I'm not wishing for summer yet, though. We took a drive out to De-seret De-seret and back through Oasis Monday Mon-day morning and the drive back into town makes you just naturally start humming, "Winter Wonderland". Wonder-land". It is just beautiful with all the snow and the frost on everything. every-thing. The lane to the Dudley Crafts home is like a picture. Two things that I have made for the children that we used to make at home with snow is snow-cream snow-cream and smoked snowballs. They really went for the cream but not for the smoked snowballs! To make smoked snowballs you pack the snow into a tight ball and strike a kitchen match and hold it about an inch below the snow. Then you sink your teeth into the blackened snqw and yummy, yummy. yum-my. I still like them! All the magazines are full of predictions pre-dictions for the new decade. Some of the newest inventions that will find their way into some of our homes are too fantastic for me to want. (Not that it would do any good.) I'm referring to wall size television and telephone T. V. Say, now on second thought wouldn't it be nice to see some of the ads on a wall screen? Imagine the in side of a nose the size of a wall? Or all the cavities that we get to see in the toothpaste ads? Or all the hammers and wheels that are in our heads when we have a cold? Eevery so often we get a plea from a reader to get Dick Morrison back into the fold. The latest came from George Q. Terry. And I'll say this, Mr. Terry, there is nothing that I'd like better. And I know what you mean about stimulating one's mind and about agreeing or disagreeing with him! How about it, Dick? Why don't you start the New Year off again with a contribution contri-bution to the Chronicle each week?????? My New Year's resolution is to stick to the straight and narrow in this column. There is not going to be any more tall tales from this gal! 11 and Mrs. Joe Moody and children were in Orem for three days visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Johnson.
