Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard G. Clark, of Delta. June 10 is the date set for the ceremony. Miss Clements attended Delta High School when she resided in Delta a year ago with her brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Clements. Mr. Clark has attended College of Southern Utah at Cedar City this past year. He has served a tour of duty with the U. S. Air Force. Greet Friends At Reception Kenneth A. Hayes, and his bride, the former Muriel May Gardner, greeted friends and received congratulations con-gratulations Friday evening in Delta First Ward. Their marriage was solemnized earlier in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple. The bride was lovely in her wedding wed-ding gown of white lace over taf feta, with fitted bodice and taper ed sleeves, and full floor-length skirt. Her fingertip veil was held by a crown of lace, and she carried a bouquet of carnations and pink rosebuds. Receiving with the couple were their parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. Eu gene Gardner of Delta and Mr. and Mrs. Alma D. Hayes, of Salt Lake City, and the bridal party. Mrs. Artemisia Rolls, sister of the bride, was matron of honor, and Miss Gwen Blockson, Provo, and Mrs. Betty Anne Olson, Salt Lake City, were 'bridesmaids. Four flower girls were Sharon and Kar en Rolls and Diane and Linda Hayes. Dick Hayes stood as best man for his brother; Larry Gardner, brother ;of the bride, was master of ceremonies for the program. The opening prayer was' by Bishop Norman Gardner. Eldon Sorenson sang a solo, ac companied by Donald Western Joe and Carolyn Bishop sang a duet, and a toast to the bride was. given by Mrs. Lois Maxfield. Miss Ar-dythe Ar-dythe Twitchell sang two vocal solos. The presentation of - a Lester piano, gift to the bride from her parents, was made 'toy Miss Margaret Mar-garet Gardner. The couple departed on a short honeymoon , after the reception, and will return to make a home at 2531 South 2nd East, Salt Lake City. A cordial invitation to attend is extended to friends at Delta. Mr. and Mrs. J. Avery Bishop, of Delta, and daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Stephenson, of Cedar City, are visiting this week in Idaho with Mr, and Mrs. Mahon- ri Bishop. Rawldo W. Turner was born in Holden on the 13th of September, 1885. He has been an active member mem-ber of the church, currently holding hold-ing the position of High Priest. Mr. Turner has served his community well in civic affairs, having served on the Town and Irrigation Boards. Throughout his life time he has been, as he is at present, engaged in the farming and stock raising business. He is the son of Joseph H. and Mary Ellen Heap Turner, who were early pioneers in Mill ard County. Elmeda J. Turner. was born in Holden on November 27, 1885. She is a daughter of Orson R. and Elmeda El-meda Stringham Johnson. " Her parents also were early pioneers In this section. Elmeda, or 'Meda', as she is affectionately called by her many friends has been an active church member, having served in the presidency of the Ward Re lief Society, the Primary and the Daughters of the Pioneers. Rawldo and Meda are the parents par-ents of nine children, eight of whom are still living. Their names are: Ward W., Holden; Shirley Hen drickson, Salt Lake City; Ellen Stevens, Holden; Marjo.'ie Stevens, Holden; Alta (deceased); Donald Parley, Holden; Berniece Stephen-sen, Stephen-sen, Yuba City, Calif.; Claude J., Logan; and Phyllis Tanner, Ogden. They have twenty-six grandchildren. Rawldo and Elmeda were mar ried in the Manti Temple on June 5th, 1907.
