Show News About Folks in Leamington Ele Finlinson Mrs. Fred Nielson went to Cedar City Sunday May 19 with son Max. She visited the week with relatives rela-tives there, attended the graduation graduat-ion exercises and returned home he 25th. Mrs. Eldon Nielson and daughter Gayle, drove to Cedar City Friday morning to bring Inez home from school. Mrs. Von Johnson went with her, stayed for Frank's graduation grad-uation and came home Saturday with him. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Dutson and family drove down Tuesday to visit with Gene's folks, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Dutson. Last weekend Mrs. Laura Strange from Elko, Nevada, Mr. and Mrs. George Lund of Salt Lake City and Essie Anderson, visited with Mr. and Mrs. John -Anderson. Tuesday they left for Salt Lake City. Mrs. Lorna Wichmann returned home Saturday after a two weeks stay in Huntsville. Mrs. Kenneth Nielson, her daughters, daug-hters, Sally Jane and Lena Gay, and her niece, Jane Nelson, left Saturday morning for Salmon, Idaho. She plans to stay with her sister, Jewell Prochio, and assist with the floral bouquets for Memorial Mem-orial Day. Mrs. Walker Finlinson and her two children, Mary Jo and Scott Lee, went with the group and will spend the week visiting with daughter Margene, Mrs. Ted Welker. in Idaho Falls. Mr. and Mrs. Welby Finlinson left Saturday for Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to get daughter Ver-dene Ver-dene and the children. Niel Raw-linson Raw-linson has been transferred to Flor Ida for a few weeks so Verdene is coming home for a vacation while ho is in Florida. The Finlinsons plan to be home this next weekend. week-end. , Mr. and Mrs. Jay Nelson and Janet left Friday afternoon for St. George where they will visit daughter dau-ghter Glenna and her family and then drive on to Los Angeles, on their vacation trip. The room long known as the relic room In the Leamington Ward chapel is as of last Friday converted convert-ed into a class room. Bishop Nielson, Niel-son, MIA president Louise Nielson and girls working for their welfare project, Nancy Nielson, Janet Nelson, Nel-son, LaPriel Lovell and Joyce Gry-gla Gry-gla painted and cleaned the room. The souvenirs will be returned to the donors or if the owners of some of the memorials of yester year desire, they will be taken to Fillmore for display in the museum The relic room of late years was seldom visited and will be of much more value to the ward as a class room. The boys and girls graduating from Junior High School Tuesday night from Leamington were Kenneth Ken-neth Lovell, Jay Grygla, Nancy Nielson, Nila Jean Johnson and Neil Finlinson. Among the other program numbers, Kenneth and Neil sang a duet "Builders of America" Am-erica" accompanied by Nela Jean. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Barton drove down Friday to see the Rulon Dut-sons, Dut-sons, went beck to Provo, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Nielson, Mr. and Mrs. Skidmore and Eva Dutson Dut-son droove over to Salina, Thursday, Thurs-day, to the funeral of a distant relative, Chas. Michelson. Miss Connie Anderson stayed with Aunt Hattie and Uncle John, last week. Her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Anderson and brother and sister came down Sunday for her. They stayed Sunday night and returned re-turned home Monday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Bradfield and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bradfield drove to Fairview for Sunday dinner and visiting. The theme of Sunday night meet ing, given by the Sunday School was Religious Teaching. Opening remarks were by Bishop Richard Nielson. Song, "The Golden Plates" by the Junior Sunday School class- es of Norma Nielson and Glen ; Harder. Song, "Tell Me the Stories 1 of Jesus" by the combined classes ' of Alta Lovell and Gene Bradfield, of the Junior Sunday School. The ; scripture reading was by Eva Brad-: Brad-: field. Talk on "Gaining Knowledge" Know-ledge" by Glen Bradfield. Prayers I were by Welby Lovell and Floyd Bradfield. Mr. and Mrs. Willy Lovell and family of Springville, visited with folks, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Lovell and Mr. and Mrs. Bud McCann Sunday for a few hours on their way to Milford. Mrs. Stanley Bradfield spent the weekend in Salt Lake City with her daughter Joan. Saturday she attended the funeral of Mrs. Peter Geertsen, her mother'sslster. The Spencer Nielsons have two grandchildren staying far a few days. They are the children of Roland Ro-land Larson of Milford. Fred Finlinson and three child ren spent the weekend at the Jo seph Finlinsons. Young David stayed stay-ed to help with the farm work. Miss LaPriel Lovell and Larry Bradfield graduated from high school Wednesday night LaPriel won the teacher scholarship to the A. C. in Logan. Larry left for Nev ada Friday, where he will work this summer. He plans to return to Salt Lake this fall where he has a part time job lined up and will attend school. Citizens of Leamington are urged to attend the Hearing, on the current cur-rent issue of the new hook-up on the city water line. It will be held Friday night at the school house.
