He was killed Sundav morninz when his car col lided with one driven by a Califor nia man. Mrs. Prows was the for mer Ina Rae Tavlor. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Caldwell (Melba Jean) and three children of Long Beach, Calif., spent the week with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Stewart. Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Lee and family fam-ily of Salt Lake and Mr. and Mrs Howard Hunsaker, and also, Cleone Talbot of Provo, were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Talbot. Mrs. Pearl Wilkins had her sister Blanch Bond, and children, of Salt Like as her euests this week. . Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Judd Jr. and small dauehter. Elizabeth, of tiy came in to spend Easter with their narents. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Juaa Heber Bishop made a trip to the Vpterans" HosDital for his check-up this week. He still can't go back to work. Dorthev and Sherry Morris, Ra mona Robinson and Leon Lewis, all of Salt Lake, were home over thii weekend. Mrs. Emmeline Stapley left Tuesday for Salt Lake to fill an appointment with her doctor. She was at the hotel in a telephone booth when she had a fainting snpll nnrl fell on the floor. The maid found her. An ambulance was called and she was taken to the LDS hospital where she remain prf fhr three davs! She then spent a week with Mary Stevenson be fore returning home. She ieeis better, but still not quite up to par. Mr find Mrs. Karl Workman have their daughter Elna Kay, and husband and children, with tnem for n hrief visit. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Stanworth and daughter, Cindy Lou, of riocne, Nev., are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hardy. Gladys, Sidney and Roberta Carter and family and Grant and Peggy Crane, all went to Ely, Nev., to spend Easter. Students home from college for Easter were Jim Melmberg, Gale Bennett, Howard Carrol, Mont Palmer, Pal-mer, Roma Hepworth and Sherllne Talbot, all from CSU; Gene Ekins, Bryant and Karen Petersen and Edith Rose Petersen from BYU. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Blake of Orem and Mr. and Mrs. Harvard Hatton of Lehl, spent Easter with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Blake. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Hilton of Oakland, Calif., are in town renew-ine renew-ine old memories and visiting old friends and relatives. Eugene has retired from the teaching profession, profes-sion, and they recently spent 6 months in Washineton D. C. doing research work in the library. From here thev will eo to Salt Lake for a month or so. then on to their home In Oakland, California. Edward Crafts. Dean Hilton and Arlo Tavlor are home from Glen Canyon Dam to spend the weekend with their families. Geraldine Allred and small dau ghter Vickie, and Barbara Black came from Salt Lake to visit their parents, Mr. and Mrs. LeGrand Black. Mr. and Mrs. Ladd Cropper and family of Reno, Nev., spent their Easter vacation here. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Galli took their family out to Garrison to find the Easter Bunny. Mr. and Mrs. Hon Cropper took their children up to Springville to see the Art Exhibit Saturday afternoon. after-noon. Mrs. Dorothy Spenser was released releas-ed as co-ordinator of the Junior Sunday School with a vote of thanks, and Mrs. Lillian Warnick was chosen to take her place. Melvin Webb drove to St. Charles, Char-les, Idaho, Saturday to bring his wife Connie, home, and to visit with her relatives. An Easter luncheon was served ser-ved after which Mrs. Sebrlna Ekins reviewed the book, "The Power of Positive Thinking" by Norman Vincent Vin-cent Peele. All the members were present and guests were Mrs. Lydia Ekins, Minnie Talbot and Kathryn Black. Choir Easter Program The Hinckley Choir of forty voices presented the program at sacrament meeting Sunday evening. eve-ning. The opening song was Christ the Lord is Risen, followed by Oh! Death, Where Is Thy Sting. A Tribute to Easter, by David 0. McKay, was given by Evelyn Morris, Mor-ris, followed by I Know That My Redeemer Lives, by the choir. The Easter Message was given by D. A. Allred. The two closing anthems were, The Palms, and Calvary. The choir is to be congratulated on this beautiful program. It was conducted by Ivy Allred and accom panied by Roma Ekins. . t.t".
