OASIS LaVeda Bishop Last Saturday a week ago the Home Builders groups with their leaders and two mothers held a roller skating party. The only thing that happened that wasn't planned was a tumble taken by LaVene Gillen, she suffered a cut on her chin. Then after skating they returned re-turned to Oasis and cooked their supper over the fireplace at the recreation center. One of the items of interest in their supper was a cake made and decorated by Ila Stanworth. It had a house made of icing on the top of it. Arlyn Finlinson leaves Wednesday Wednes-day for Berkeley, Calif., where he will run in the N.C.A.A., National College Athletic Association, June 15 and 16. Miss Laurel Robison stayed a week with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Bradfield. Mr. Joseph T. Finlinson spent Wednesday to Friday in Salt Lake City on business. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Nielson spent the opening day of fishing at Fairview. Mr. Grant Nielson went to Fish Lake on the opening day with El-roy El-roy Nielson and Ed Colethorpe. Miss Nila Jean Johnson spenf a few days vacation in Oak City with ber cousin Kae Finlinson. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Nelson and Janet went to St. George, Friday to visit with their daughter, Glenna, and her family. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Olson and daughter spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Nielson. Mrs. Ranae Harder Hannah and children, Scott, and Ann, from Dal-ton, Dal-ton, Ga., are home visiting with their folks, Mr. A. M. Harder, Glen and Dean and their families. Saturday Sat-urday afternoon they all drove to Mt. Pleasant to see the youngest son Boyde, his wife and children. Sunday afternoon, they were puests of Mrs. Glen Harder. Mrs. Wells Nielson had Ranae and her children to dinner on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. DelRoy Jones and daughter of Milford visited with Mr. and Mrs. Walker Finlinson and family, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Finlinson of Bountiful are the parents of a baby boy. He weighed 9 lbs. Mrs. Welby Finlinson has been up there helping her daughter-in-law with the other two children. Mrs. Enid Colemen has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph T. Finlinson over the weekend. Music students of Mrs. Ruth Finlinson Fin-linson presented a recital Sunday afternoon for their parents and friends. The girls performing were Ethel Lovell, Gayle Nielson, Krin-' tin Tolbert. Joyce Grvgla, Mary Jo Finlinson, Sally and Nancy Nielson. Refreshments were served to all those present. Mrs. Enid Colemen, sister of Ruth Fiinlinson, played several selections for the group. Mr. Albert Hanson from Fair-view, Fair-view, came over Sunday to get his wife, Lillian Bradfield Hanson and two daughters, who have been staying the past week with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bradfield. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Dutson and daughter Kathy from Provo spent Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Leon-ard Dutson. Mr. and Mrs. John Holmquist with Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Dutson. Salt Lake City, spent the weekend and sons, Leonard and Lonn, from They spent Sunday up Oak City canyon fishing. Finlinson and Wm. Bradfield. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Gunn arrived Tuesday for a visit with their folks here. They are staying with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Nielson. Mrs. Arvilla Dean was here from Salt Lake City visiting with her mother, Mrs. Emma Nielson and her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Kent Larsen. Mrs. Larsen. her three children chil-dren and her sister Daneese Great-house, Great-house, from Fresno. California, drove up to visit with their folks a few days.
