Mr. and Mrs. Dee Brush and family fam-ily have moved to Deseret after having spent the winter at Henderson, Hen-derson, Nevada. A special meeting for the Garden Gar-den Club was held Friday evening at the home of Fern Warner. A social was given in honor of the out-going officers: Denise Palmer, Ruth Winfield and Blanche Jensen. They were each presented with a gift in appreciation of the work they had done. The hosteses for the evening were Fern Warner and Myrtle Western. Refreshments were served. Mrs. Mable Olson from Provo is spending this week at Deseret visiting visi-ting relatives. On Sunday visiting at the home of Roy and Matilda Hales were Mrs. Rebecca Hales, Mr. Hale Hales, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hales and Mrs. Tess Jensen from Redmond. Red-mond. David Hales is visiting this week at Redmond with his cousins. Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln Cropper and son Vincent, spent Sunday and Monday in Salt Lake City. Dorothy Baker who has spent the school term attending BYU at Provo has returned home to spend the summer with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Baker. Mr. Frank Dewsnup from St. George visited several days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dewsnup. Dew-snup. Frank came up to attend the funeral services Monday for Charlie Dewsnup. Mr. and Mrss. Cloyd Theobald from El Paso, Texas, came ' for Cloyd's grandfather's (Charlie Dew snup) funeral. They will visit a few days before their return to Texas.
