Down Goes Trucks Aceitlent Katio ltli Straight Year The Utah Motor Transport An-sociation An-sociation reports that the l'JG3 edition of Accident Facta, just released re-leased by the National Safety Council, analyzes accidents In terms of vehicle registrations. Out of the total number of vehicles involved in accidents, the relative number of trucks declined for the fourth straight year. The table shows clearly that trucks now have a better safety record than automobiles. Particularly Particu-larly significant la this record when you realize that trucks have greater exposure to accidents, because be-cause they average greater mile age per year than do passenger cars.
