Knight telephoned Sunday to his mother Mrs. Nora Knight, in Delta, to say he was home from Korea, where he had served since early last May. He had flown home, and landed at Seattle, Wash., last Friday. Then he flew to Denver Satur day, and went on to his home in Boulder, Colo., to join his wife, the former Doris Dean Coleman, and infant son, Dean Lee. It was Rey's first glimpse of the '"baby boy, who was four months old March 2. Lt. Knight will receive his' dis charge from the service at Camp Carson, Colo., on March 6. and resume civilian life at Boulder He and his family plan to visit in Delta soon. Home, assistant county agent. The school was a 5-day course covering materials needed to carry on an effective 4-H program in the county. These leaders will ' assist the extension staff in putting over the county leadership school to be held here on the 10th and 11th of May. The leaders who attended the school stated that they all had a good time and gained sufficient knowledge to carry on an active 4-H club of their own. News MARGENE HILTON The opera was a great success and a vote is given Mr. Allred and Mrs. Ivy Allred for directing it, and also to Joyce Davis, as student director. Each member took his part very well and with the wonderful audience to laugh at the pranks and jokes, a very enjoyable time was had by those who saw it. A victory social was held Monday Mon-day and the students had alot of fun dancing to records. Various organizations have had bake sales this last week. The student like them and support them very well. The game this week is to be played on Wednesday, due to the need of play-offs on the weekend. A Minsirel show will be pre sented by the Hinckley Lions to raise funds fcr Mrs. Schena, Friday Fri-day night instead of Wednesday as was announced. A very lovely program has been arranged and we urge everyone to come and-see and-see the show Mr. 'and Mrs. Jay Garcia and small son and daughter and sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Howard Whitlock, from Tooele, were weekend visitors with their parents, Mr and Mrs. Dick Clark. Margene Hilton, Saturday night. Mrs. Stevens went with them to Texas and Mexico and will return very shortly short-ly ' . Meeting Meet-ing was started with address of welcome by Mrs. Esther Swensen. Song by Singing Mothers. Choral reading by Mrs. Vie Robinson. Talk by Mrs. Sebina Ekins. Reading Read-ing by Mrs. Margaret Jensen, and song by Singing Mothers. A bake sale was held by the Home Builder girls, and money was given to help the Primary's donation to the building fund. The Service men's committee has been having bake sales and a good deal of money has been made to help service men receive reading material.
