Show Johnson - Tolberi Pistes Planned For January SOIh Lovely bride of late January will be Miss Connie Johnson, who lias chosen January 30 as the date she will marry Bernell Tolbert. The couple will be wed in the Manti temple. The following evening, eve-ning, Jan. 31, a reception will honor hon-or the young couple in the Lynn-dyl Lynn-dyl ward recreation hall, to which all are cordially invited. For the post-nuptial wedding reception re-ception Miss Johnson has chosen Miss Cloreaa Johnson as maid of honor. Bridesmaids Include Mrs. Nettie Rae Leavitt, Miss Connie Mcintosh, and Miss Roberta Nielson. Niel-son. Flower girls will be Renee Tolbert and Eloise Johnson. Bidden Bid-den to assume duties of best man will be Garth Tolbert. After a short honeymoon, the newlyweds will make their home in Tooele. Plan WodelEiat January 29 Mr. Samuel P. To Ifc Married Mi. and Mrs. Hamilton McCul-lough McCul-lough are announcing the engagement engage-ment of their daughter, Darlene, t-Mor. Feral Nielson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Antone Nielson of Washington, Wash-ington, Utah.- Wedding plans are being made for later in the spring. Miss McCullough is a graduate of Delta high school and a sophomore sopho-more at Dixie College. She is the president of Lamba Delta Sigma, and has been active in musical circles at the school, as pianist for the chorus and various programs. Mr. Nielson recently returned from a mission in the Western Canadian mission field. He attended attend-ed Dixie College before leaving for his mission, and is now preparing to enter the service. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Robinson and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Nielson left Tuesday on a trip by car to Florida, Flor-ida, and plan to be gone two weeks or more, sightseeing on the way. Standing in the receiving line with the bride and bridegroom were the bride's mother, Mrs. Ul-lian Ul-lian Roundy, her brother, Howard Roundy, and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Gardner, parents of the bridegroom, bride-groom, and is best man, Ronald Wright. Misses Elaine Gardner, Irene Lewis, Mae Gene Peterson, and Kay Still attended the bride. Little Paul Roundy and Ann Welch carried car-ried the bride's train in the wedding wed-ding march. The hride was lively in a white satin and lace wedding gown. She carried an orchid bouquet. Her fingertip fin-gertip veil was held in place by a tiara of satin and pearls. The mother of the young couple cou-ple wore orchid corsages and the bridesmaids, dressed in pastel formats, for-mats, wore leis of flowers. All the beautiful flowers were sent direct dir-ect from Hawaii. As the guests entered, the beautiful beau-tiful strains of recorded Hawaiian melodies and the orchids and leis made a lovely setting for the wedding wed-ding party. The bridegroom, having hav-ing Tilled a mission in Hawaii, was partial to this theme, which was also favored by his bride. After the wedding march a program pro-gram was given, with Howard Roundy as master of ceremonies. Little Carol Nichols danced an Hawaiian hula, and Ladd Cropper sang, "I Love' You Truly,,' with Mrs. Cropper as accompanist. Mrs. Thelma Seegmiller gave a reading. David Bishop sang, "Because", "Be-cause", accompanied by Lula Marie Hilton. An accordion solo was played by Joan Ball. Lula Marie Hilton sang "Because You're Mine", with Mrs, Cropper as accompnist. Dale Johnson played play-ed an accordion solo. LaVoy Tol bert sang "Thine Alone", accom panied by Mrs. Cropper. The new-lywed new-lywed couple expressed their ap preciation. Inez Ann Kelly took care of the : guest book.
