Mr. and Mrs. Vern Richens and family, Draper, were Monday visitors at the Forrest Littleford home. Mr! and Mrs. Arvil Stone attended at-tended the Ward Reunion in Vineyard last Wednesday. The occasion was the Fiftieth Jubilee of their former ward. ' Mr, and Mrs. Vern Richens and family of Draper were Monday visitors at the Forrest Littleford home, Mrs. Dean Prior will join family fam-ily members and friends in honoring, hon-oring, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fenton Boyack, on their Golden Wedding day. Open house will be held at their home at 157 West 8th North in Spanish Fork, Sunday afternoon. Visitors will be welcomed between the hours of two and six. Lowell Crabb, Spanish Fork Mortician, made a brief visit at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Crabb, Friday evening. Mrs. Niel Krishner of Provo, (their daughter Leona) spent Tuesday evening visiting with Mr. and Mrs. James Beverley. Mr. and Mrs. John Hutchings took specimens from their native museum Tuesday to the Fourth ward in American Fork. They gave a lecture on the formation of minerals and semi-precious stones. Mrs. Annie Fritz is in Salt Lake City for an Indefinite stay with her daughters, Mrs. Wood-row Wood-row Baird, Mrs. Bert Wright, and Mrs. Clifford Ramos and family. Mr. and Mrs. Merrell Goodrich of Vernal, and O'Donnell Goodrich Good-rich of Moses Lake, Wash., were visitors at the Arvil Stone home last Wednesday evening. Both young men are nephews of Mrs, Stone. Mr. and Mrs. Ferron Gurney were hosts for a group of friends at their home, Saturday evening. Games and refreshments filled the evening. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Dean Powell, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Schown, Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Vance, Mr. and Mrs. John Southwick, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Norman and Mr. and Mrs. Harold M. Fox. Alpine Stake Makes Splendid Contribution to Hospital Annual report of the Penny Fund of the Primary association of Alpine stake has been sent to the general boasd with a check for $696.68. This amount is slightly larger than the 1947 fund.. Pennies and birthdays are as traditional as ice cream and cake to 152,000 Primary association boys and girls throughout tne world, Mrs. Guy S. Richards, Alpine Al-pine stake Primary president, said In making the report. Each meeting during the year the boys and girls sing "Happy Birthday" to the children whose birthdays occur during the week. Primary officers and teachers make a canvass of the wards and branches during February to in vite everyone to contribute a penny for each year tc augment the fund which goes to help crippled children who would not otherwise receive the medical care they need. In Salt Lake City Primary workers give many hours of volunteer vol-unteer service to the hospital where under trained nurses they help in caring for the children. James Powell is seriously ill at his home. Stricken Monday, he was reported to be improving Wednesday but confined to bed. Two birthdays on the same day, fall to Harold Hutchings and his sister Esther, Mrs. Quey Hebrew. They were honored at a family dinner Sunday afternoon at then home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Hutchings. Others present included Mrs. Harold Hutchings and children, Mr. Hebrew, and Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Hutchings and daughter Lyn-nette.
