Kelvin Brewer and Richard Cook were defeated in tennis doubles only by the BYU high, after defeating Spanish Fork and Payson. Others placing were Ken Tay lor in the high hurdles, and Jay Bell, high jump. American Fork took third place in the mile relay re-lay and second in the 880 relay. In the tennis singles Eldon Reese won the first round from Reed Fillmore, Spanish Fork (1-6, 9-7, 6-4), but in the second round was defeated by Bob Kirk Patrick, BY steller player (6-0, 6-4).
