LEHI DAIRY Phone 38-W Lehi Mrs. Clara Clover returned Saturday Sat-urday after a short visit with her daughter, Mrs. Don R. Coombs, in Spanish Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Nlelson, (Fred Gammon) of Riverton spent the week end at the LeRoy Gammon home. They attended conference here. Miss Norma Jean Gammon, who is attending school in Salt Lake, also spent the week end at home. In a warmer climate for the winter months, Mrs. Rachel Anderson An-derson is visiting at the home of her daughter, Mrs. O. R. Ivory, at Redding, Calif. She is having hav-ing an enjoyable time there, with occasional trips to points of interest. in-terest. She recently visited Sacramento, where Mr. Ivory attended at-tended a business convention. Mrs. Udine Wing accompanied her daughter, Ila, to Provo Sunday. Sun-day. She was a guest at the broadcast of the mixed chorus presentation, heard with President Presi-dent Clark's address. Ila is the only student from Lehi who belongs be-longs to this group. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Nostrum spent the week end in Lehi, visit ing with relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. D. Ray Allred are spending two weeks In Arizona. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Allred, a son, of Salt Lake City are caring lor the home in their absence. Mrs. Udine Wing entertained at dinner Feb. 14, the occasion being the birthday of her mother, Mrs. Charles Sabey. A handsome cake lent a festive note. All family members were present. Besides the Wing family were, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Sabey, and son Pal, Park City, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Sabey and family of American Fork, and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Stewart and their children. The Gleaner girls and M Men and the Special Interest group of the Third ward MIA met to gether Tupsdav evening. A book review, "Sweet Love Remembered," Remember-ed," was given by Mrs. Russell Innes. Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Garrett and Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Cooper spent Sundav afternoon in Provo, visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thornton Garrett. Students enjoyed a short vacation vaca-tion Monday afternoon, while faculty members attended the Tparhers Wnrk Shoo meet in Pleasant Grove. Mrs. Douglas Willes, Mrs. Ellis Sorenson, Mrs. George Ingram, Mrs. Clifford Carson, Mrs. Owen Johnson, Mrs. Virgil Meredith, Mrs. Charles Peterson, Mrs. Elva Allen, and Mrs. John South wick were present. FETED AT SHOWER A shower was given Mrs. Mar vin Hall, nee Donna Degelbeck, Saturday, Feb; 14, in the Keuei Society rooms of the Fifth ward chapel. Wished well by a large group of friends, the new Mrs. Hall received many beautiful and useful gifts. The rooms were gay with blooming plants. Mrs. George Ingram directed the program and a sextette of Donna's schoolmates sang two numbers, accompanied by Mrs. Jack Mitchell. The girls were: Nadine Jones, Joan Dorton, Esther Esth-er Brems, Arlene Nelson, LaRue Curtis and Geraldine Hitchcock. Mrs. Lucille Rhodes and Mrs. Wayne Nielson gave readings. Mrs. Howard Robinson sang two solos, with Mrs. Abraham Anderson Ander-son as accompanist. Mrs. Isaac Hardman played two accordion solos, Miss Vella HutcWnga, a piano solo. Mrs. sen sang, and furnished a background back-ground of piano music until games were started and refreshments refresh-ments served. HOSPITAL NOTES Those receiving recent hospital care include the following: Lynn Lewis, major operation. He returned re-turned home Feb. 16. , Mrs. J. D. Klrby received medical medi-cal care. Mrs. Jenalyn Manning was admitted ad-mitted for minor surgery Feb. 14, Mrs. Fred Potter underwent a minor operation Feb. le. Mrs. Naomi Fox received medical medi-cal treatment Feb. 16. Henry Havilla is receiving medical med-ical care. Wm. Robert Merritt is receiving medical care. A valentine for Mrs. Don South-wick, South-wick, was a baby son, born at the local hospital Feb. 14.
