Mrs. Elizabeth Cook of Cedar Valley received medical treatment treat-ment at the Lehi hospital Wednesday Wed-nesday and Thursday. Mrs. Charles Southwlck underwent under-went a major operation at the Lehi hospital on Thursday. Mrs. Reva Vacher of American Fork underwent a major operation opera-tion Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Angus are parents of a son, born Sunday at the Lehi hospital. M n Barbara Holmstead, daughter of Ira Holmstead, entered the Lehi hospital Monday for treat ment of a broken leg. Wilson of Sunset, Utah. The young couple were married Friday in the Logan temple by President EIRay Christiansen, in the presence of the bride's parents, par-ents, the groom's parents, and the bride's sister, Mrs. Ferris A. Evans. A wedding breakfast honoring the newlyweds was held in the Bluebird Cafe, after which the honored guests left immediately for a honeymoon trip to Yellowstone Yellow-stone Park. The bride wore a smart draped model of watermelon water-melon pink crepe with black accessories, ac-cessories, a single orchid forming her corsage. The bride is a graduate of the Lehi high school, where she was prominent in student affairs, serving as vice-president of the student body and president of the Boosters club. An outstanding program was attended attend-ed in the morning, number being furnished by Cedar Fort and Fairfield wards. Games for the children were enjoyed by everyone. every-one. She received her degree in 1943, and has taught home economics at the Lehi high school for the past two years. Lt. Wilson is a former student of the Utah State Agricultural College, where he was affiliated with the Sigma Alpha Epsllon fraternity, and active in the R. O. T. C. on the campus. He was also a member of the agronomy honorary fraternity. He entered the service while at college, and since then has trained at various camps in the United States, being recently stationed at Camp Ruck-er, Ruck-er, Alabama, and at Kruger, Oklahoma. He will report soon for reassignment at Fort Ord, California. The bride plans to resume her teaching position this fall. Mrs. Grace Boulder and children chil-dren of South Gate, California, spent Sunday morning in Fairfield Fair-field with her sister, Mrs. Charles Carson. The stake Sunday School sup erintendent, Azer Southwick, Brother Sylvan Clark and stake Sunday School organist, Mrs, Wallace Banks, visited the Fairfield Fair-field Sunday School this week. Yvonne Bollman and June Hansen of Salt Lake City were visiting with Fairfield relatives Sunday. Mrs. Grace Shephard was visiting visit-ing in Alpine over the week-end. Mrs. Ella Crossman Courtney of Fairfield has received word from the war department that her husband, Albert Courtney, is missing in action in the South Pacific.
