Brown underwent an operation Wednesday morning morn-ing at the Bingham hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Welcker are rejoicing over the arrival of twins, a son and daughter, born November 19 in the American Fork hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Ruel Evans, Mrs. Ida Gray, and Mrs. Clyde Dorton were among Lehi fans at the Lehi-Cyprus game in Salt Lake City Saturday. . Mr. and Mrs. Roger Price were Thanksgiving dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Price and family. Mr. and Mrs. Myron Burgess and family were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Burgess in Alpine. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Price entertained en-tertained at dinner Saturday for Mrs. T. A. Taylor and Mr. and Mrs. George Price and family. Mrs. Ralph Smith and two children chil-dren have returned to their home in California after spending a month here with liter parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Beverly. Mrs. Smith is the former Leone Karren of Lehi. Mrs. Roger Price entertained members of the Ikon-Oddity club at her home Friday evening. Bridge was played, after which a tasty luncheon was served. Prizes were won by Mrs. Bruce Evans, Mrs. Reed Kirkham, and Mrs. Boyd Larsen. Special guests were Mrs. Robert Webb and Mrs. Ronald Price. Mr, and Mrs. William Skinner were Thanksgiving Day dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Hutchings at their home in Bingham. Other, guests included Mrs. James Gottfredson and baby of American Fork, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Fage and family of Bountiful, and Mr. and Mrs. John Hutchings of Bingham. Trekker boys of the Lehi Fourth ward made a Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing call at the home of Mrs. Cora Hunger, who received a basket of goodies from the group. Group songs were sung, and a reading, "Somebody's Mother," was given by Dee Ray Russon. Boys present were Don Bateman, George Christofferson, Gene Clark, Lynn Peck, Dee Ray Russon, Ronald Street, Melvin Kirkham, and Robert Whimpey. Class leaders are Mrs. Anne Peterson and Mrs. Violet Kirkham. Miss Zina An derson conducted the music. Miss Udine Garrett and Miss LaRae Evans attended the Lehi-Cyprus Lehi-Cyprus game in Salt Lake City Saturday. . Don Littleford spent Saturday and Sunday in Pleasant Grove with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Deveraux. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Evans entertained en-tertained at dinner on Thanksgiving Thanks-giving for their son, Ferd Evans, and family of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Evans' father, C. F. Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Junius Banks entertained en-tertained at a family dinner at their home on Thanksgiving, covers being laid for Mr. and Mrs. Myron Burgess and family and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Banks and family. Mrs. Milton Russon (Kathlyn Chatfield) and baby left Friday evening for Denver, Colorado, where they will join Mr. Russon, who is stationed at Fitzsimmons army hospital with the medical corps. Mr. Russon recently was transferred to Denver from Ft. Lewis, Washington. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Peterson entertained en-tertained at dinner Sunday in honor of their son-in-law, Wayne Phillips, who was here on furlough fur-lough from Camp Walters, Texas. Mrs. Phillips is the former Virginia Vir-ginia Peterson. Covers were laid for the honored guest, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Phillips of . Pleasant Grove, and the Peterson family. Sixteen members of the Junior Athenian club met at the W. L. Worlton home Monday evening, where the evening was spent in Red Cross work. Refreshments were served later in the evening by the hostess, Miss Luella Moore. The next meeting of the group is scheduled for December 6, with Miss Florence Adams as hostess. Miss Esther Hutchings left Friday for Los Angeles, California, Califor-nia, where she will serve as a nurse at the Holy Cross hospital there while awaiting her call to active duty as an army nurse. Mrs. Meda Carson and Miss Lola Carson attended funeral services for Mrs. Emma Sinclair in American Fork on Wednesday. Mrs. Warren Bone (Luclle Carson) Car-son) has returned to her home in Huntington Park, California, after visiting here for the past month with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Carson. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Prior and family spent Thanksgiving Day in Spanish Fork, guests of Mrs. Prior's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fenton Boyack. and children of Burley, Idaho, spent the Thanksgiving holidays with Mrs. Hedburg's mother, Mrs. Carl Gunther. The Hedburgs left Sunday to return to their home. Merrill Crandall received word of the death of his sister, Mrs. Erma Gudmundsen, who died in Los Angeles, California, Sunday. Funeral services and burial will be in Springville, where she had made her home most of her life. After attending the Manning funeral services in the Third ward Thursday, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Simons of Clearfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Olsen and Mrs. Becky Olsen of Salt Lake City called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Peterson. . Members of the R. C. Hicks family enjoyed their first reunion re-union in fifteen years this week, with all family members being present. .Out of town members present were Mrs. Avice Hicks Thayne and Mrs. Rose Hicks Chandler, both of California, and Cpl. D. J. Hicks of the air force signal corps. Mrs. Carl Gunther entertained Wednesday at her home, honoring honor-ing Mrs. Dorothy White on 'her birthday anniversary. Twenty ladies were present. The time iwas spent in playing games, after which the hostess served a tasty luncheon. Mr. and Mrs. Vern Richins of Draper, Mr. and Mrs. Winston Gillies and Mrs. Blanche Baine of Pleasant Grove, and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Gurney, with their families, were Thanksgiving dinner din-ner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Forest Littleford. Mr. and Mrs. James Beverly and son, Curtis, and daughter, Geraldine, Mr., and Mrs. Mark Greenwood, Mrs. Wilson Greenwood, Green-wood, and Mrs. Guy Redman motored to Salt Lake City Wednesday Wed-nesday evening, accompanying Mrs. Ward Carroll and son, Nor-dell Nor-dell to the train enroute to Seat tle, Washington.
