They met at the home of their teacher, Mrs. Busker, for refresh ments before returning to their homes. Following Sacramental services in the Lehi Fourth ward Sunday eve ning, a group of friends gathered at the home of Mr, and Mrs. Odell Peck for a social chat. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bateman, Mr. and Mrs. Orval Gunther, Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Russon, Mr. and Mrs. John Smith, and Bishop and Mrs, Llnel Larsen, Primary officers and teachers of the First ward met at the home of Mrs. Boyd McAffee for their regular monthly preparation meeting. A delicious luncheon was served first, after which plans for the Spring Primary conference were discussed. Elgtheen officers and teachers were present. A. boys are getting their crops and livestock ready for the coming year. Marriage Mrs! Rachel Hitchcock announces the marriage of her daughter, Rochelle, and Private Don Lewis Strassburg of American Fork, who were married Monday evening in Salt Lake City by Bishop Hatter. Mrs. Strassburg attended the Lehi schools, and is well known in the city. Private Strassburg is a graduate grad-uate of the American Fork high school, and was inducted into the U. S. Army last September 22. Upon his induction, he registered for parachute division work, and recently, re-cently, completed his five required jumps, which graduated him as a qualified paratrooper. Private Strassburg left Tuesday evening for Fort Benning, Georgia, where he has been stationed, and upon his transferrence to another camp, his bride will join him. Mrs. Strassburg will remain with her mother until her husband is transferred. trans-ferred. "v Special Interest Group Sees Pictures Old Age Group Receives Big Percent of Relief Old age assistance represents 59 percent of Utah county's relief costs for the past year it was recently disclosed by W. H. Callahan, county director. Other help to citizens were as follows: 24.7 per cent as aid to dependent children, 6.3 per cent to unemploy-ables, unemploy-ables, 52 per cent for administration, 2 per cent to employables, per cent to other cases, the report shows. 18.7 Per Cent Drop As a result of the recent steel plant development and other Industries In-dustries of this area, the total ex penditures of the department were $919,219, a decrease of 18.7 per cent during the year, Mr. Callahon said. Legislators Visit New Steel Plant SALT LAKE CITY Members of Utah's twenty-fifth legislature visited visit-ed the Geneva steel plant Tuesday as guests of Columbia Steel company, com-pany, defense plant division. The legislators left the state capital cap-ital after the morning's session and proceed in caravan to Geneva, where they met E. M. Barber, vice president of Columbia's defense plant division, and other officials of the construction division. After lunch, the state senators and representatives, and their wives, inspected in-spected construction progress on Utah's new steel development.
