DIES IN SALT LAKE CITY Boyd Larsen, who left Sunday lor the east to attend school was pleasantly surprised by a group of friends Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace uiover. a ounei nincneon was served and the evening spent play ing triage. Prizes were won by Mr, ana Mrs. Larsen, and Mr. Keith Hunter. The guests included Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hunter, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Wanlass, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Wing, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Glover and Mr. and Mrs. Larsen. Members of the 34 club will meet Friday evening at the home of Mrs, Leo Hadfield. Mr. and Mrs. M. S. Lott attended the state plumbers' convention in Provo Saturday. Idaho, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank KIrvance of Rupert, Idaho who were Just marripd in , Lake temple, visited Friday with fucnara Norms n James Hansen. and Mr. Lewis Floyd Colledge,. 48, of Salt Lake. City and a former, resident of this city died en route to a Salt Lake hospital. Friday at 6:45 a. m. of coronary occlusion. Mr. Colledge was born In Lehi January 2, 1894, a son of Joseph and Elizabeth Colledge, For 19 years he was employed by the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad com pany and recently was employed at the Ogden ordnance depot. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Opal Davis, three sons, Floyd and Barnett Colledge: three daughters, Mrs, Myrtle Green, Mary Lou and Dar lene Colledge of Salt Lake City six half brothers, Elmer, Thomas and Meredith Yates of Salt Lake City; Geraldus and Fred Yates of Lehi and Leon Yates of San Fran cisco, Cal.; and a half sister, Mrs, Priscilla Collins of Murray, and four -grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Monday at noon in the third ward chapel. Bishop's Counselor Carlos Coates was in charge and as the opening number Mr. and Mrs. Ar nold Brems accompanied by Mrs, Fern Johnson sang 'nl the Garden.' Luther Coates offered the opening prayer. Mrs.-George Price, accom panied by Mrs. Johnson then sang "My Father Knows." Speakers who brought out gospel thoughts and offered consolement to the bereaved family were Bishop L W. Fox, Bishop William Had field and Bishop Beamer of Salt Lake City. ' Mrs. Fern Johnson, accompanied by Mrs. George Price sang "Lay My Head Beneath ttai Rose," and as the closing musical number the duet sang, "Perfect Day." Charles Tur ner offered the, benediction.
