Mr. and Mrs. George Bone and family of Springville visited Sunday Sun-day with Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Bone and Mr,, and Mrs. J. W. Wing. Friends of Mrs. Frank Barnes will be pleased to hear that she is recovering, re-covering, after a week's illness. Miss LaLee Bateman and Miss Belva Larsen were joint hostesses at the M. Men and Gleaner Fireside Fire-side Chat held Sunday evening, following fol-lowing the Fourth ward sacrament meeting. The affair was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Bateman. Mrs. Florence Butt assisted as-sisted with the program. Mr. T. F. Kirkham was the guest speaker for the evening. Following the program pro-gram refreshments were served. Mrs. Armond Webb was hostess to members of the Pandora club at her home Wednesday evening. Diehl. , Lehi friends and relatives of Mr. David Taylor of American Fork will be pleased to hear that he is recovering recov-ering from an illness. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Austin of Salt Lake City are proud parents of a fine baby son, born at the L. D. S. hospital on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. John N. Austin are the proud grandparents. Relatives in Lehi received word that Mr. A. W. Dtckerson has been chosen as superintendent of the Sunday School in the branch of the L. D. S. church at Tracy, California. Califor-nia. Mrs. Virgil Meredith entertained at a gay children's party Saturday in honor of the fifth birthday anniversary an-niversary of her daughter, Joyce. An event of interest this week was the marriage of Miss Betty Christofferson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Christofferson, and Marion Kelly, son of Mrs. Alvin L. Kelly of Inglewood, California, which took place Monday in the Salt Lake temple. Mr. Alex Christofferson of Lehi, Mrs. Arthur Price and Mrs. Thomas Condie of Salt Lake City accompanied accom-panied them to the temple. Mr. and Mrs. Christofferson and son, David, and daughter; Eva, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wilcox visited vis-ited in Salt Lake City with the newly married couple prior to their departure for Inglewood, California, Cali-fornia, where triey will make their home. Car Damaged In Accident MARRIAGE ANNOUNCED Lehi friends will t8 interested in the announcement of the marriage of Mr. Lovell Austin, son of Mr. and Mrs. John N. Trade at the store located for your convenience. MAIN HARDWARE TOM WOFFINDEN In an accident on Main street in front of the pool hall Monday about 6:35 p. m. Mrs. Mildred Carson of Cedar Valley and Guy Darling of Lehi escaped injury. According to Marshal Gardner who investigated the accident, Mr. Darling was parked on the side of the street and Mrs. Carson was driving east. As Mr. Darling pulled out from the curb he side-swiped the right front fender and wheel of the Carson car. The Darling car was not damaged but the Carson Car-son car fender was bent and a tire blown out. Mrs. Carson was forred to drive to the north side of the street in front of the Drug store. Last Innoculation To Be Given Here Tuesday The Typhoid clinic that has been held in the Memorial building for the past three weeks on Monday and Tuesday has proved to be very successful. Over 600 people, one-third of the population of Lehi, have received the innoculation. Those in charge announce that next Tuesday will be the last night for the innoculation and those who have not received their third innoculation innoc-ulation must be there as this will be the last day for the clinic. BOY SCOUT COUNCIL MEETING MONDAY NIGHT A Boy Scout district council meeting meet-ing will be held Monday at 8 p. m. in the Memorial building. Scoutmasters, district committeemen committee-men and chairmen of troop committees com-mittees are urged to attend. SCOUTS OBSERVE 32ND ANNIVERSARY THIS WEEK This week the Boy Scouts of Lehi district with other scouts throughout through-out the nation are observing the 32nd anniversary of scouting. Sunday evening a Scout Court of Honor and Recommittal was held in each of the wards. Thursday (today) a special assembly is being held in the high school auditorium.
