Miss Ruth Worlton, who is attending at-tending school in Logan is home to spend the holidays with her parents Dr. and Mrs. W. L. Worlton. J. O. Meillng, who is employed at Beowawi, Nevada, and Miss Virginia Vir-ginia Meillng, who is teaching school in Afton, Wyoming, were here during dur-ing the week-end. They came on account of the death of Mrs. Oscar Anderson, mother of Mrs. Meillng. Miss Karma Evans, who underwent under-went an operation for hernia at the L. D. S. hospital in Salt Lake City on Tuesday of last week, was removed re-moved to the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Evans, Sunday. Sun-day. She is reported to be doing nicely. Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Thomas of Og-den Og-den were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Afton Giles, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Swenson were week-end guests of Mr. Swen-son's Swen-son's mother, Mrs. Emma Swenson, of Llndon. Mrs. Freda Peterson Bollschweller Is leaving today (Thursday) for her home in Los Angeles, California, after af-ter spending the past several days here with her grandmother, Mrs. A. J. Evans. The Junior Athenian club menv bers were entertained last Thursday evening by Mrs. John Southwlck. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Gunther left Wednesday for California to spend the Christmas holidays. They will visit in Huntington Park with then-daughter, then-daughter, Mrs. Alice Jones and family, and in Los Angeles with another an-other daughter, Mrs. Marcille Grossman. Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Coates and family of Goshen visited here Mon day with Mr. and Mrs. Luther Ooates. Later in the day Mrs. Coates accompanied' them to Granger where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Niels Kalmar. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy M. Davis of Provo are happy parents of a fine baby son, born Sunday, December 17. Mother and baby are reported to be doing nicely. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Davis of this city are proud grandparents. Lott and daughter, Lois, left Saturday morning morn-ing for Washington, D. C. where they will spend Christmas with their daughters. Mrs. Otis Black and Miss Marie Lott. From there their trip will continue to , Miama, Florida, where they will enjoy a visit with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wreal Lott. They expect to be gone about a month. The Just-A-Mere club members were entertained at a Christmas party Monday evening at the home of Mrs. George Strasbursr.
