A. male chorus, given under the direction direc-tion of the Parent-Teachers association. asso-ciation. It was a beautiful affair, proclaimed by everyone who attended attend-ed as the outstanding musical production pro-duction of the year. The message conveyed by this musical feast was awe-inspiring, portraying por-traying in song and tableau the life of the Savior. It taught a religious lesson that reached the hearts of everyone far more effectively than could have been done by speech, and thus the true Christmas spirit was permeated throughout our community. com-munity. A night scene of the "Little Town of Bethlehem" Beth-lehem" was portrayed during the singing of this number. A tableau of the Three Wise Men was given next. During the singing of I Know A Virgin Mary," the Madonna kneeling at the cradle was shown and during the singing of "Silent Night" the Madonna was shown with the babe in her arms. Special light ing effects made the tableaus very beautiful. Miss Carol Proctor portrayed the part of the Madonna. The candle lighters, beautiful in white evening gowns, were Atha Hebertson, Theda Henke, Pauline Worlton, Salena Peterson. Pe-terson. Donna Kirkham, Esther Hutchlngs, Nettie Cook, Ruth Worl ton, Florence Cook, Mary Skinner and Clarice Larsen. Ushers were Alta Webb, Karlyn Chatfield and Jean Worlton. Lloyd Sftrasburg was In charge of the lights. In charge of the stage settings were Mrs. J. G. Jones, Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Potter, Mrs. Clell Jackson and Miss Merlene Tew and in charge of the tableaus was Mrs. Stanley M. Taylor. During the evening the P.-T. A. officers presented beautiful corsages of pink roses and white sweet peas to Mrs. June Jorgensen, director of the chorus, and Miss LaPriel Goodwin, Good-win, the piano accompanist. Special credit is to be given to the director, Mrs. June Jorgensen, for her untiring efforts in directing this outstanding production; to Miss LaPriel Goodwin, the piano accompanist, accom-panist, to all members of the choruses chor-uses who gave such a remarkable rendition, and to all who assisted in any way. A festival of this nature is of a high cultural value to the community, com-munity, it is something that the members of the stake want, and it is sincerely hoped by everyone who witnessed it that a festival of this nature be presented every year in our community.
