The Greater Melodians orchestra, directed by Mrs. Fern Larsen, played for two dances at Eureka Friday and Saturday nights, held during the big Forty-Niners celebration held there during the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Holmsttead and baby daughter have arrived home from Kings City, California, where Mr. Holms tead has been employed shearing sheep.
