Mr. and Mrs. Ray Alston and children of Salt Lake City visited in Lehi Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Southwick. Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Whipple, Mrs. Celestia Schow and Mrs. Harry Stewart attended the evening session ses-sion at the Salt Lake temple, Fri day evening. Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Giles and children and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bone and children of Salt Lake City- were visiting in Lehi Sunday with Mrs. John Bone and other relatives. Mrs. J. O. Meiling was hostess to members of the Social club at her home on Wednesday afternoon of last week. Bridge, the usual diversion, di-version, was played during the afternoon after-noon at small tables, prizes going to Mrs. Leroy Lott and Mrs. Herbert Her-bert Austin. Later a dainty lunch eon was served to the club mem bers. Mrs. Hurley Harr of Murray, formerly for-merly Miss Eleanor Harmon of this city, entertained at a bridge party Friday evening at her home for a number of Lenl friends. The playing play-ing of bridge at small tables was the main diversion, high score being be-ing won by Miss LaPriel Goodwin. A prettily-appointed luncheon was served. Mrs. Kesler is Mrs. Giles' sister. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil H. Peterson were among those attending the temple excursion on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Heber J. Webb and son, Wayne, and Mrs. Heber C. Webb visited in Salt Lake City Friday. Fri-day. Mr. and Mrs. Webb visited with Mrs. Mrs. Webb's brother, E. A. Call, at the hospital, and Mrs. Heber C. Webb visited with her son, Lynn. Mrs. Jennie Nostrom entertained the members of the Second ward Relief Society chorus at her home Wednesday evening. A delightful social evening" was enjoyed. Mr. and Mrs. Don Giles of Ogden Og-den visited in Lehi Sunday with Mr. Giles' mother, Mrs. Riley Giles, who has been very ill. At last reports re-ports she seemed to be improving. Mrs. W. A. Evans spent Sunday in Provo, visiting with Mrs. Mel-vin Mel-vin Reynolds. Mrs. Dorothy Jones of Salt Lake City spent Sunday in Lehi with her mother, Mrs. Alice Tuckfield. Mr. J. t. Jackson visited in Salt Lake City during1 the week end with his daughter, Mrs. Annie Fritz. Mrs. Mable Stout and Miss Edith Goates of Salt Lake City visited in Lehi Sunday with their nephew, Calvin Goates, who is ill Miss Ivy Russon, who is attending attend-ing the B. Y. U. at Provo, visited nere from Friday evening until Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Erastus Russon. She reports enjoying her school work very much. Miss Leona Osterloh entertained at a prettily-appointed bridge lunch- .eon Saturday afternoon, complimen tary to Miss Elsie Standring of Sacramento, California, who is attending at-tending the B. Y. U. at Provo. Miss Standring formerly lived in Lehi. Bridge was played at small tables during the afternoon, the high score prize being captured by Miss Phyllis Kirkham. Mr. and Mrs. Harmon McAffee and children were visiting relatives in Lehi, Sunday. Mrs. Nettie McAffee has arrived home after spending two months in Salt Lake City with her sons. Felix Long has gone to Ogden, where he will spent the winter with his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Thomas. The Mothers Club will meet at the home of Miss May M. Lott Fri day afternoon (to-morrow). All members are cordially invited and urged to be in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Littleford vis ited in Salt Lake City on Monday. While there they called at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. GUI and Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Little- ford. A very successful Relief Society conference was held Sunday eve ning in the Fifth ward, under the direction of the ward Relief Soci ety officers. A splendid program was carried out and a good crowd was in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Whipple vis ited in Salt Lake City during the week end. Mr. Whipple with a group of Salt Lake friends enjoyed a duck hunt at Bear River and Mrs. Whipple was a guest of Mrs. T. H. Merrill. The Second ward Relief Society are having a Meat Pie Day to-day (Thursday). Meat pies will be on sale during the day and anyone wishing pies are urged to get in touch with the officers. Orders will be taken. The funds derived from this source will be used for relief purposes. The Sunshine committee of the First ward entertained at a gay social Thursday afternoon at the home of May M. Lott. Social di versions were enjoyed and a deli cious luncheon served. Fifteen Years Ago Now Earl Wanlass, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wanlass, former residents resi-dents of Lehi passed away at their home in EJsenor Tuesday from, influenza and pneumonia. Fifteen Years Ago Now Pneumonia following Influenza claimed George L. Schow at their home in Delta Friday. Fifteen Years Ago Now Dr. Robert E. Steele, who for many years successfully practiced in Lehi, died of pneumonia at his Salt Lake residence, Saturday evening. eve-ning. fifteen Years Ago Now Tracy W. Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. N. P.
