Misses Donna, Blanche and Leona Rlchlns of Pleasant Grove spent the week end in Lehl with their sister, Mrs, S. P. Littleford. i Mrs. Heber J. Webb and son, Wayne, are spending ten days In Salt Lake City, visiting with Mrs. Webb's sister, Mrs. Emerson Curtis. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Taylor of Salt Lake City were Lehl visitors on Saturday. They came to attend at-tend the funeral for Mrs. Willes. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Trinnaman and baby, who have been living in Salt Lake City for the past several months, returned to Lehl this week for an indefinite visit. Misses LaPriel and Arleen Good win, Mrs. Wanda Curtis and Miss Cleo Larsen attended the Road Show of the Granite Stake in Salt Lake City, Tuesday evening. Members of the County Medical Society entertained at the Hotel Roberts In Provo Wednesday evening eve-ning at a ladies party. Mrs. Elmo Eddington and Mrs. P. D. Wort ton were in attendance. COAL! September Sep-tember 28, 1932. The mother was before her marriage, Miss Martha Gurney of this city. . Surviving besides the parents of , the baby are her grandparents, 1 William J. Gurney of this dty and Mr. and Mrs. Woolstinholme of Pleasant Grove. Funeral services were held Tues day at 1 o'clock at the Woolstin-i holme residence in Pleasant Grove.' Mr. and Mrs. Frank Martins and Miss Theressa Taylor of Ogden visited vis-ited over the week end in Lehi with their mother, Mrs. E. W. Taylor. Mrs. Leroy Davis attended a board meeting of the officers of the First District of Federated Women's Clubs held Saturday afternoon at the home of Mrs. William Chipman In American Fork. Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Hardy and family are leaving this week for Plain City, near Ogden, where they will take over a farm. The Hardy family have been living on the Klrkham Farm up In the creek for the past few years. Members of the Second ward Re lief Society chorus are planning a party for Saturday evening. It will be held at the home of Mrs. Will- lam R. Shepherd. A program and games will be features of the party, followed by delicious refreshments. A lovely baby daughter arrived to gladden the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Raleigh Goodwin early Wednesday morning. All concerned are happy . and mother and baby are reported doing nicely. Mrs. Warren Russon, assisted by Mrs. Alice Jones, entertained at a party Friday evening at her home. A variety of interesting games were played and a dainty luncheon served. The entertainment presented In the First ward Friday evening, under un-der the direction of the Relief Society So-ciety organization was largely attended at-tended and proved to be one of the most outstanding nd clever enter tainments of the year. A one-act play, "Stoves", directed by Mrs. Gladys Peterson, and skit, "Hicks from the Sticks" by Guy Darling and L. C. Rick were both excellent numbers and very amusing. uwier numoers consisted of an act by the Siamese Twins, Beth An derson and Hazel Phillips, a read ing by Mis. Ruth Wanlass, a dram atization of "Sweethearts" under the direction of Mrs. Blair Carson, an act by "Omar the Ventriloquist", a whistling solo by Mrs. Etta Holds-worth Holds-worth and a Negro act by the Relief Re-lief Society Chorus. Thomas F. Klrkham cleverly portrayed, por-trayed, "Omar, The Ventriloquist". Mr. Klrkham in this character role furnished plenty of amusement and delighted the big audience with his clever interpretation of Omar. The Negro act by the Relief So- ciety ladles was in the form of a shadow play and was also very splendid.
