The five-concert season will open Oct. 13 and 14 with Salt Lake pianist Marjorie Janove performing perform-ing Robert Schumann's Piano Concerto in A Minor. The midwinter midwin-ter concert on Jan. 26 and 27 will feature a rousing celebration of American music. Young musicians, to be selected in October auditions, audi-tions, will perform concertos concer-tos in the annual Young Artists concert March 2 and 3. The spring pops concert April 27 and 28 will offer a change of pace with music from movies and television. In a separate event which is not part of the orchestra's regular season, sea-son, the Utah Valley Symphony Sym-phony will accompany the Wasatch Chorale in performances per-formances of Bach's St. Matthew Passion May 13 and 14. The UVS season ticket will also admit ticket tick-et holders to this bonus concert at no additional cost. Season tickets are available by calling business busi-ness manager Gary Gillum at 489-9300. Prices for the five-concert season are $50 for a family pass, $22 for an individual, and $15 for students and senior sen-ior citizens. Payment may also be sent to the Utah Valley Symphony at P.O.
