The bride-to-be is the daughter of Phil Peterson of Arizona and Cindy Peterson of Pleasant Grove. The prospective groom is the son of Cherie and Bernard Mierzejewski of Omaha, Neb. A reception will honor the newlyweds April from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at The Bungalow, Bunga-low, 235 S. 100 West, Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove. Attending the bride will be Diana Smith, Abby Cheatham and Rebecca Russell. Best man duties will be performed by Drew Williams, Andy Bell and Rachel Jensen to wed Scott and Val Jensen of Pleasant Grove are pleased to announce the forthcoming forthcom-ing marriage of their daughter, Rachel Jensen, to Nathan Holyoak, son of Ilene Quent of Ogden and Melvin Holyoak in Chicago. The bride-to-be is a graduate grad-uate of Pleasant Grove Sandra Yocom earns YW award Sandra L. Yocom, daughter daugh-ter of Kent V. and Lynne Yocom of Pleasant Grove, received her Young Womanhood Woman-hood Recognition award Nov. 1, 2003. She is a member of the Battlecreek 1st Ward. For her projects she taught swimming lessons, made a scrapbook, memory quilts for two exchange students stu-dents and made the ward's hats for girls' camp. She is in the 12th grade at American Fork High School. Russell Greene celebrates 85th birthday Russell Greene celebrates cele-brates his 85th birthday on March 31 by enjoying his favorite meal of Chinese food with his family. She March menu announced '55 Alive' driver's program is today The 55 Alive driving class is from 1-5 p.m. today and tomorrow, March 2, at the Jacobs Center, 242 W. 200 South in Pleasant Grove. The Jacob's Center director reports that there will be a wild party on April 23 from 5-7 p.m. at the center. The theme will be the Easter East-er Parade and guests are asked to bring their Easter bonnet The Accordian Club meets on April 12 at 7 p.m. at the center. The Jacobs Center is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. except holidays. Seniors can enjoy quilting, exercising, and visiting at the center as well as play billiards and games, put together puzzles, and take occasional tours when available. Bingo is each Monday at 10:30 a.m. Ceramics Ceram-ics classes are every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. Quilting is done daily. Lunch is served each day at noon and menus are planned for the nutrition needs of the senior citizens. Reservations are needed one day in advance. Menus are listed here for convenience and may be clipped out and used for reference during dur-ing the month. There is a small fee charged for lunch. Arts Council seeking student entries for art show The Pleasant Grove Ails Council is inviting students to enter projects into the city art show. The art work will be judged in three categories: grade school, junior high and high school with Best of Show winning a prize. Submissions need to be standard sizes of 8x10, 11x14 or 16x20. Please frame entries and put the artist's name and telephone number on the back. The deadline for entries in May 1 with entries being turned into the main desk at the library.
