The conference is being held at Aspen Grove BYU Family Camp and Conference Center Cen-ter at Sundance. Participants are Juliana Boulter and Weston Hollinger of American Fork High School, Clint Durfey of Pleasant Grove High School, Erica Vhittenbourg of Lone Peak High School, and Candace Peterson and Alex Allred of Lehi High School. October 17, 2002 - Pace 13 Babysitting class offered at AF Hospital American Fork Hospital will offer a babysitting safety safe-ty class for youth ages 10-14 10-14 on Oct. 22 and Nov. 19 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The class will take place in the hospital's Classroom 1. The class emphasizes responsibility, safety practices prac-tices and prevention of accidents acci-dents for babysitters. Class members are also taught basic first aid and CPR. Although the class will not take place in December, it will resume in January and be taught the third Tuesday of every month at the same time and in the same location. of the local Rotary Club. The award is an all-expense all-expense paid participation at the conference and consists con-sists of motivational speakers, speak-ers, group discussions, workshops and hands-on activities designed to develop devel-op leadership skills. High school juniors from high schools throughout Utah are selected to participate partici-pate in the program. The program aims to demonstrate Rotary's respect and concern for youth, provide an effective training experience for selected youth leaders and potential leaders, encourage leadership of youth by youth, and publicly recognize recog-nize young people who are rendering service to their community.
