In some ways, however, the activity is not new to Jackie, who Lisa noted has "always been very motivated" motivat-ed" and who associated with Littles to perform Sunday in park Pleasant Grove's own Kathryn. and Howard Little will perform this Sunday in the last of the summer Concerts in the Park series. The Littles. will be performing perform-ing a variety of stories and songs that will be enjoyable for all ages. ....... Kathryn's background is in acting and musical theater. the-ater. "It forces you to grow. You're opening yourself up to be hurt, to find out that maybe your 'best' wasn't good enough. They held their Back to School night last Friday, their enrollment is about the same at 650. Mt. Mahogany Elementary enrollment is up, it is about 760 students. CDs, CD players, stereos, amplifiers, speakers, and anything associated with these items are being stolen left and right from vehicles in the Pleasant Grove-Lindon area. Even if the car is locked, entry is often made by breaking a window. Police warn car owners to take every available precaution to avoid having these valuables taken from their vehicle. A CD player, stereo amplifier, and 12 inch speaker were stolen from a car in Pleasant Grove. The window was broken for entry and the dashboard was damaged when the equipment was removed. The total value of the stolen items was $850. In another incident in Pleasant Grove at a car repair shop, a customer's car received $1,500 damage to the sun roof when someone stood on the roof of the car, broke the sun roof and climbed into the vehicle. A CD player was taken. A CD holder containing 39 CDs, a bag of clothing, and a portable CD player were taken from a car. The value of the stolen items was $742. The car was left unlocked at the owner's home. A speaker box, and 20 CDs were taken from a car in Pleasant Grove. The items were valued at. $400. Taken from a vehicle in Pleasant Grove were a stereo, a 400 watt amplifier, and 30 CDs with a total value of $1,060. The vehicle was locked but the windows were slightly open. A Pleasant Grove resident reported that 200 CDs in a case were taken. The items were valued at $650. The car was parked at the owner's home. A stereo valued at $40 was taken from a car in Pleasant Grove. The owner said the stereo was not worth much but he said he mainly reported it so police would know what was going on in his neighborhood. Other police matters included a report from a woman in Lindon that someone had taken $72 from her purse while it was parked in her driveway. A builder told police that the walls of a building under construction in Pleasant Grove were damaged. The damage was set at $700. He said it appeared the damage had been done by skateboards. A resident of Pleasant Grove reported that a wedding wed-ding ring valued at $4,000 had been taken from his home. Two race racks, a seat assembly and gas tank from three snowmobiles at a Lindon business were taken. The parts were valued at $1,888. A bicycle parked at the Pleasant Grove swimming pool was stolen while the owner was swimming. Someone threw a water balloon at a truck near Battle Creek Park and broke the windshield. The owner and police tried to find who threw it but were unsuccessful. unsuccess-ful. The windshield was valued at $150. Police responded to a business alarm and found a front glass door broken by a piece of concrete. No one was found in the building but a large number of items were stolen from the store, including 41 cartons of cigarettes. The total loss was $1,764.39. The door was valued at $350.
