The couple will have a reception following the ceremony cere-mony from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Sharon 3rd Ward, 445 South 700 East, Orem. All friends are invited to attend. April Melody Weeks, daughter of Clyde and Helen Weeks of Orem, married mar-ried Dale Penrod, son of LeRoy W. and Afton Cluff Penrod of Orem, Saturday Feb. 8 at the Oakcrest Inn Restaurant in Spanish Fork. Following the wedding, there was a celebration dinner din-ner for the families of the couple held at the Oakcrest Inn. The program included music and tributes given by family members. Dale is the owner and president of the Penrod Excavation Company in Springville, and April Melody is an account executive execu-tive at the "Thrifty Nickel" newspaper in Orem. Both are graduates of Orem High School. The couple will make their home in Springville. Cory Dodge called to New Jersey Cory Dodge, son of Rodger and Sallie Dodge, has been called to the New Jersey Cherry Hill Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He will speak Sunday, Feb. 16 at 11 a.m. at the Lakeview Stake Center, 1750 South 400 West, Orem. Friends are invited to a lunch after church at his home, 285 West 1800 South, Orem. Mccarty's book was written writ-ten about lessons she learned from her daughter, " Sarah, who died from Cystic Fibrosis at age 13. McCarty read parts of her book and talked about how Sarah lived with joy in the midst of trial. She said it is impor- ' tant how people react to trials. tri-als.
