"Blithe Spirit" tells the story of a novelist, novel-ist, Charles Condomine, who invites an eccentric medium into his home in order to learn the occult language. The guest medium summons Condomine's first wife who has been dead seven years. Directed Di-rected by Howard and Kathryn Little, the production follows Condomine and his second wife, as his first wife's ghost torments Condomine and plots ways to reunite them as a couple cou-ple with haunting results. Tickets for the show are $7 for adults and $6 for students and seniors. A family ticket is available for $25. Discounts of $1 are given for Saturday matinees mati-nees at .3 p.m. Evening shows begin at 7:30 p.m. and will open on Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays only. Center St. Lehi Arts Council Auditions open Auditions for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever will be held on Thursday, Oct. 23 from 7-9 p.m. at the Lehi Arts Center, 685 N. Center St., Lehi. The show will run Dec. 1 1-15 1-15 and will be directed by Robert Rob-ert Smith. Actors of all ages are needed for this show and would be a great family activity for the holiday season. New band director leads Silver Band The Lehi Silver Band announced Don McGuire as its new band director. McGuire has a masters of music in conducting con-ducting from Brigham Young University. He is licensed in Utah and Idaho in secondary education and has taught school band curriculum in both Utah and Idaho. McGuire served as the president presi-dent of IMEA District 5 where he oversaw district music activities. The Silver Band will resume rehearsals on Wednesdays Wednes-days from 7-8:30 p.m. at the center, 685 N. Center St., Lehi. Chorus director announced Lehi Chorale members welcome Saundra Harris as their new director. She previously taught music at Lehi High School and was the founder of the Encore program. Harris teaches elementary el-ementary education theatre in Alpine. The Chorale rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 8-9:30 p.m. They will perform at Temple Square on Dec. 21. Utah Baroque Ensemble Cathedral of the Madeline concert The Utah Baroque Ensemble will perform its second sec-ond concert in the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 331 E. In the spring of 1996 the choir was honored to be invited to perform per-form at the Western Division convention of the American Choral Directors Association in Pasadena, California. The choir also toured Eastern Germany in 2001, singing in Berlin, Dresden and Meissen, and in Wales and England in 2005, performing Evensong in Westminster Abbey and a noon-day concert in St. Paul's Cathedral in London.
