Sat-urdays. General admission tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children (3-1 1), students (w ' ID) and seniors (65). Seating is on a grassy slope, and patrons pa-trons may bring blankets or rent a chair for $1. Reserved seating areas range from $12 to $14 for adults and $10 to $12 for children, students and seniors. The state board of regents announced Tuesday that UVU President William Sederburg was named the new Commissioner Commis-sioner of Higher Education by unanimous vote. Sederburg will take office as Commissioner August 18. He will remain president of UVU until that time. "We have great confidence that he will build upon his past and produce the leadership the Utah System of Higher Education Educa-tion needs," said the Board of Regents Chair Jed Pitcher. As commissioner of higher education, Sederburg will be the CEO of the Utah System of Higher Education. He will fill the position left vacant by former Commissioner Richard Kendell who retired in December. Decem-ber. David Buhler has acted as interim commissioner since Jan. 1. Buhler will continue in that role until Sederburg takes office of-fice in August. Sederburg said that he was honored to be selected by the board of regents for the position. posi-tion. "It is my intent to work with all parties to create a higher high-er education governance system sys-tem based on collaboration and innovation," Sederburg said. The search for a new commissioner com-missioner went nationwide, with nearly 100 candidates considered. con-sidered.
