PoliceBeat AMERICAN FORK MAY 25-JUNE 1 DISORDERLY CONDUCT - A 46-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct. The woman and her friend had gone to a local restaurant to get some food to go. Once they were at the restaurant, the woman became upset and wanted to stay and eat inside the restaurant. The woman started yelling and threw a menu on the ground. The woman's actions disrupted several other patrons of the restaurant. PROTECTIVE ORDER VIOLATION VIOLA-TION A 34-year-old male was arrested for violation of a protective protec-tive order. THEFT BY DECEPTION - A 27-year-old man was arrested for theft by deception. The man had stolen two ladders from another jurisdiction and then pawned them at a local pawn shop stating he was the owner of the ladders, receiving monies from the pawn shop. RETAIL THEFT - Three 18-year-old men and a 16-year-old boy were arrested for retail theft after they attempted to take several sev-eral DVDs from a local business. A 38-year-old male was arrested for retail theft after he attempted to take hair products and an X-box game card from a local business. ASSAULT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VIO-LENCE - A 24-year-old man was arrested for assault domestic violence and criminal mischief domestic violence. The man and his father had gotten into an argument about him moving out. The man became upset and punched a wooden door, breaking break-ing it. The man then walked into the kitchen area. While continuing continu-ing to argue with his father, the man grabbed a kitchen knife and held it up in a threatening manner and then placed the knife into the sink. DISORDERLY CONDUCT - A 20-year-old male was arrested for disorderly conduct. The man had been arguing with his family members for over two hours. The neighbors could hear the arguing and asked the man to calm down and stop yelling so loud. The man then became upset with the neighbors and began to yell and scream at them. DUI A 33-year-old man was arrested ar-rested for DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, no registration and no insurance. The man was involved in a traffic accident and left the scene. Witnesses were able to follow the suspect until officers arrived and placed him under arrest. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ASSAULT AS-SAULT A 25-year-old woman was arrested for domestic violence vio-lence assault, domestic violence in the presence of a child, simple assault and disorderly conduct. The woman and her husband are separated and her husband had their child for a birthday party. The woman went to the residence where the birthday party was and pushed him while he was holding their daughter in his arms. She then hit a woman who was attending the party. The woman continued to scream and then began yelling racist comments com-ments at other individuals at the party. CEDAR HILLS WARRANTS - A 45-year-old man was arrested for two outstanding out-standing arrest warrants. THEFT Officers responded to a report of a theft a bicycle The bike was later located where the victim had left it. EAGLE MOUNTAIN ILLEGAL CONSUMPTION - A deputy initiated a traffic stop when he observed an equipment violation on a vehicle on May 27. The deputy smelled alcohol and administered a breath test to the driver. Both the driver and a passenger pas-senger were over 18 years of age, but under 21. Both were cited for illegal consumption of alcohol and released to a responsible party. LEHI DUI One individual was cited for DUI on May 25. Another was taken to the Utah County jail for possession of methamphet-amine. methamphet-amine. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE - One individual was cited with intoxication intoxi-cation on May 25 when an officer responded to a domestic violence vio-lence call. NUISANCE - On May 27, police po-lice responded to a complaint of noise from a drilling rig on the north side of IM Flash. SEXUAL ABUSE OF A CHILD An individual was booked into the Slate Canyon Detention Center Cen-ter on May 28 on a sex offense. THEFT One juvenile boy was booked into Slate Canyon on vehicle burglary on May 28 and another on attempted vehicle burglary. This pertains to two juveniles ju-veniles with multiple charges and multiple cases. TRAFFIC OFFENSE - Seventeen Seven-teen vehicle owners were cited for vehicles parked illegally on May 26. DUI On May 31, an individual was cited for DUI, speeding violation viola-tion and more. The vehicle was impounded. PLEASANT GROVE THEFT Officers responded to the area of Fugal's on May 28 on a report of a suspicious truck and two men walking around. Officers arrived and located the truck. It was found that one, possibly two suspects, had entered a locked gate on the property of Niels Fugal and Sons and took possession of a large quantity of miscellaneous fiber optic cable. Officers from Orem Police witnessed two men running from the yard of Fugal's into the area owned by Rocky Mountain Power. The suspect vehicle ve-hicle and fiber optic cable, found in the bed of the truck, were seized and held for the owner. They were taken to the police department for safe keeping. THEFT - On May 28, an individual indi-vidual reported having tools taken from his vehicle while it was parked at a business where he was doing work. Taken were a Ridgid impact drill, Ridgid reciprocating recip-rocating drill, Ridgid circular saw, De Walt circular saw, and other items. THEFT A lawn mower was reported stolen from the victim's carport sometime between May 11 and May 28. THEFT - On May 26, tires and rims were reported stolen off a Corvette at a dealership. CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PROBLEM - On May 26, officers of-ficers responded to a report of an individual driving recklessly. The driver was arrested for possession posses-sion of paraphernalia and driving offenses. The passenger was arrested for mislabeled prescriptions. CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PROBLEM On June 1, a resident resi-dent of an apartment reported his roommate making "special brownies" with marijuana in them. He provided information regarding the suspects. Police were unable to make contact with the suspects. Roommate requested request-ed to remain anonymous. CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PROBLEM -On May 27, officers of-ficers responded to a report of a highly intoxicated man at an address ad-dress in Pleasant Grove. Officers arrived and took one juvenile boy and one man into custody. BURGLARY - Burglary of a residence reported on May 29. One juvenile boy arrested. BURGLARY - Burglary of a residence reported on May 29. $4,580 reported missing from the residence. BURGLARY - A residential burglary was reported on May 28. A Sony computer was reported re-ported stolen. A glass window and other items were reported damaged. ASSAULT - Officers responded to a report of a juvenile who hit another juvenile on the bus on May 29. The juvenile girl was cited for assault and referred to Juvenile Court. SARATOGA SPRINGS SUSPICIOUS LOITERING On a routine patrol in the Lake Mountain subdivision, police officers of-ficers observed an occupied vehicle. ve-hicle. They asked the occupants what they were doing there. The vehicle was registered in St. George. The occupants said they were waiting for friends but could not produce an address or legitimate legiti-mate reason for parking there. , Police determined that both t occupants have drug records. Police found several items linked to forgery in their possession. Both suspects were turned over to another Utah County agency for follow-up. k' a.. ...
