The suspects sus-pects gained entry through an unlocked garage door and pried open another door that leads into the house from the garage. The main floor rooms of the residence resi-dence had been ransacked, but the homeowner reported only a small amount of cash was taken in the incident. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE - Police Po-lice were dispatched to a home near Canterbury Place in Highland High-land on Jan. 13 on a call of verbal and physical Domestic Violence. A husband and wife were having a verbal argument over lunch preparation when the argument turned physical. The incident took place in front of the couple's 6- year old daughter. Charges have been forwarded to the city attorney and DCFS was notified - Officers arrested 36-year-old Barry Harmon of Alpine for DUI on Jan. 3 after he drove his vehicle away from a prior incident involving some loose horses in Alpine. The suspect had been talking with officers when they detected the odor of alcohol. Harmon failed a breathalyzer breath-alyzer test, had a suspended driver's license, two license restrictions for prior DUI'S as well as four active warrants out of Salt Lake County totaling over $6000. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Utah County Jail on Felony DUI charges. WARRANT - While responding respond-ing to an animal complaint at an Utah County women challenged to Women from across Utah County are invited to take part in Utah Valley Heart & Vascular Vas-cular Services' 100-Day Heart Challenge. Alpine residence on Dec. 29, police po-lice discovered the complainant had two outstanding warrants totaling $1500. The complainant was followed by officers to a local lo-cal bank where he retrieved cash and posted bail on the warrants. LICENSE PLATE CONFISCATEDA CONFISCAT-EDA dealer license plate was confiscated by police on Dec. 23 on a traffic stop in Highland after the driver of the vehicle told police his temporary registration registra-tion had expired and the dealer he bought the vehicle from had given him the plate to use until his license plates arrived. The driver was cited for improper use of a dealer plate and the plate was booked into police evidence. TRESPASSING - On Dec. 30, a 31-year-old female was arrested for criminal trespassing and criminal mischief after police were dispatched to a suspicious incident at a residence in Highland. High-land. The suspect had broken a window to gain entry into her parent's home. The suspect told police she had used an axe to break the window and went into the house to sleep. The suspect's parents were at out of town at the time of the incident and had advised their daughter to stay away from their residence due to prior problems. CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PROBLEM - A 16-year-old boy was cited into Juvenile Court on Dec. 27 on charges on of possession posses-sion of marijuana and paraphernalia parapher-nalia in a drug free zone when he and another juvenile were caught smoking marijuana at a residence in Alpine. An officer took report information and classified the incident in-cident as a hit-and-run accident since the driver whose vehicle caused the damage left without providing contact information. Anyone with information is asked to call Utah County Sheriff's Sher-iff's Office dispatch at 851-4100. EAGLE MOUNTAIN ILLEGAL CONSUMPTION Police responded to a report of possible trespassing when a neighbor reported a party at a home they believed to be vacant. No one responded to officers at the front door, so they knocked at a basement door. Officers observed ob-served a person passed out on the basement floor and entered the home to insure the person's safety. They found seven minors who had consumed alcohol. The minors were cited for illegal consumption of alcohol, and the alcohol was confiscated. One of the people had recently rented the home, so they were there legally. BURGLARY - A vehicle parked in front of a residence was burglarized bur-glarized and checkbooks stolen. Police are investigating the incident inci-dent and fraudulent activity on accounts. Police are reminding citizens to lock their cars and remove re-move valuables, checkbooks and credit cards from parked cars. FAIRFIELD THEFT Eight saddles were stolen from a ranch. LEIII VEHICLE BURGLARY - Police Po-lice received a report on Jan. 5 that gloves, hats, cologne, coat and CDs were stolen from an unlocked un-locked vehicle. FRAUD - On Jan. 4 a counterfeit counter-feit $20 bill was given at a Lehi business. ALCOHOL OFFENSE - Two juvenile boys were cited into Juvenile Court on Jan. 4 for illegal il-legal consumption and a curfew violation. Two men were cited with illegal consumption and contributing to the delinquency of minors. DISORDERLY CONDUCT On Jan. 3, two juveniles were cited into Youth Court with disorderly dis-orderly conduct. One juvenile was cited into Juvenile Court on disorderly conduct and trespassing trespass-ing charges. TRAFFIC OFFENSE - On Jan. 3, the driver of a vehicle was booked into the Utah County Jail on a warrant and cited for improper U-turn, expired driver's license, no insurance, no front plate and no registration. Passenger Pas-senger was booked into jail on a warrant. THEFT A piano valued at $600 was stolen from a business. busi-ness. An arrest was made. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE - One person was cited for domestic violence on Jan. 3 and another ' cited for domestic violence assault. as-sault. ASSAULT - On Jan. 12, officers of-ficers took an assault detail regarding a woman who was assaulted by her friend. The woman provided very little information, in-formation, refused to cooperate, and wanted no action taken. BURGLARY - Officers were dispatched to a report of a home invasion burglary on Jan. 8. Two suspects were arrested and later booked into the Utah County Jail. VEHICLE BURGLARY - A Kenwood radio CD face and a Cobra CB 40 channel radio were reported stolen from a vehicle at Pleasant Grove High School on Jan. 7. VEHICLE BURGLARY - A woman reported $240 was stolen sto-len out of her purse left in her vehicle the night of Jan. 7. THEFT A complainant reported report-ed on Jan. 9 that a Big Tex construction con-struction trailer had been stolen from a commercial area in Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove. Another construction trailer had been left at the site with the serial number removed. That trailer was impounded as a possible stolen vehicle. The first trailer was listed stolen on NCIC. THEFT - On Jan. 8, officers responded to a Lindon residence on a report of a family fight. Officers Of-ficers arrived and found a verbal argument had occurred and the parties were separated. In speaking with the individual at the residence, she advised that the man involved had stolen her purse and cell phone. AM RADIO 1 THEFT The reporting party said on Jan. 7 that he believes employees of his maid service are stealing items from his residence resi-dence while they clean. Missing is prescribed Lortab. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - One of two men threw an object into the front window of the home in Pleasant Grove on Jan. 10 (damaging (dam-aging it) after being "kicked out" by the homeowner. They were in the home with the owner's 17-year-old daughter without permission. The suspects were gone from the area when officers offi-cers arrived. CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PROBLEM - A vehicle was stopped on Jan. 13 for a traffic violation. While speaking with the driver, officers noticed the passenger was not wearing a seat belt. Warrant checks were conducted sand three warrants were found for the passenger, two of which could be served. The passenger was placed under arrest and a property search was conducted. A paraphernalia pipe was found in the passenger's backpack. The passenger said he smoked methamphetamine in it about two weeks ago. The driver was released on equipment violations vio-lations and the passenger taken to the Utah County Jail. CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PROBLEM - On Jan. 11, police checked on a vehicle parked in the foothills of Lindon. There were four juvenile boys in the vehicle and as a result, all four were cited and released for drug offenses. SUSPICIOUS - Two individuals indi-viduals were arrested for drug paraphernalia after police were notified of a car parked in Lindon that were possibly using drugs.
